Spork’s goodbye letter arrived in the mail today.

I ran into Rizzo, and he informed me that he locked himself out of his house! I had no interest in helping him out.

It was K.K. Slider night, so I attended his show at the Roost. He performed K.K. Sonata for me. It may be sad, but it’s not bad.

In the city, the path to Resetti’s Surveillance Center was open…so I walked right in. I spoke with Resetti, and he was being unusually nice. But then he suddenly got called away; he had to leave in a hurry.

Once I finished making my rounds, I started my bug-hunting search. Unlike last week, I was seeing more valuable bugs. And not only that, but I wasn’t missing many of them either. In fact, I only swung and missed at two valuable bugs the whole night (2+ hours), one which was in a tricky spot on my peninsula, and the other was this tarantula that I didn’t notice in time.

It was one of my best bug-hunting nights ever, if not the best! I hauled in twelve goliath beetles, six scarab beetles, four rainbow stags, four giant beetles, four elephant beetles, three golden stags, two atlas beetles, two cyclommatus, two scorpions, and a tarantula.
In all, I made 410,000 bells in a two-hour, ten-minute session. Not bad, if I do say so myself. My bank account balance topped 47 million bells, and I’m well on my way to meeting and exceeding my summer goal.
At the end of the night, I found two furniture items in the recycle bin: a wagon wheel and a modern chair. See you all next time!
