Sunday nights in August are fireworks nights, and I attended the show tonight. Mayor Tortimer was standing outside of town hall, encouraging me to watch some stuff explode.
He handed out Roman candles and sparklers, and I used one of the Roman candles to burn his shell. It’s an annual tradition for me. 
Of course, the villagers in town were enjoying the show too. Wolfgang even wondered what fireworks look like from behind.
I stopped over at the southern bridge to take a good look.
Maelle asked me to make a delivery, so I took the item (a grape shirt) from Ducky to Lucky. 
Maelle rewarded me with a pinball machine, although it looked like her head was in a bird cage when I spoke to her.
I did some bug-hunting (and a little fishing), and I earned 150,000 bells in an hour-long session.
