Luck Ran Out

I started up the game yesterday, and I was disappointed to see that Lucky was all packed up and moving out of town. 🙁

Lucky: That's right, I'm leaving Forest. It's been great knowing you, but it's time for me to move on now.
Maybe he misses his mummy.

Saharah was in town last night, and she was collecting old carpeting. Unfortunately, none of my villagers had any old carpet to give me! Not a single one!

Curt: Why don't you check with some of our slobbier neighbors, fuzzball?
You’re the slobbiest neighbor I have, so I guess I’m out of luck.

I played again tonight, and the northern lights were shining up in the sky. This is likely my last time seeing them this winter (since the snow will be gone by next Friday), so I stopped by the windmill to snap a photo.

Enjoying the northern lights (aurora) while standing next to my windmill.

To my surprise, Gaston told me that he hates when nature is this beautiful. I couldn’t help but wonder why? Does it make him look even uglier by comparison? 😛

Gaston: Man, I hate it when nature is this beautiful.

Actually, his reasoning is that it should look this good all the time. I don’t know about that; I like my explanation better. 😀

Lucky was still in town today, so I didn’t get his goodbye letter yet.

K.K. Slider was in town for his usual Saturday night show, and I enjoyed his performance of K.K. Sonata.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Sonata.

See you all next time! Spring is coming! 🙂
