There was a new house in town, and I found Roscoe the black horse inside.
Roscoe isn’t bad, but of course he is another cranky villager! So once again, I have eight crankies in town! It may have been an interesting novelty at first, but it’s really annoying for my cranky count to keep going back up to eight every time I get rid of one. Ugh!
Anyway, the fishing tournament was held today, and only pond smelts were eligible. But that wasn’t a problem, because the river was loaded with them. I had no trouble catching this one.
I took it over to Chip, and he measured it for me: 4.9 inches.
That wasn’t big enough, because Boomer had a 6.1-incher. But I didn’t give up; I caught two more fish. The next one was 6.2 inches, and it took over the top spot! Chip rewarded me with a siphon. The other one was 7.0 inches, and Chip gave me a folk guitar.
In the recycle bin at town hall, I found a country guitar. I wonder if this was someone else’s tourney prize that they didn’t want? 😛
I rode the bus out to the city, and I asked Phineas for a bubble blower. It’s nice that the bubbles are unlimited in this game. 🙂
Later on, I returned to the game to see if my 7-inch pond smelt held on for the win. Chip confirmed that it did! I’ll be getting my trophy in the mail next time.
At the Roost, I told K.K. Slider I was feeling grumpy, and he played K.K. Rock for me.
It’s kind of funny that you got Roscoe because yesterday he moved out of my New Horizons town.
Jeff, how would you feel if Queenie were to move out of your City Folk town?
I would be disappointed, especially right now when I’m trying to reduce the cranky population. 😆
Maybe you should rename Forest to Crankytown. Yes, I know you can’t rename your town in any incarnation of Animal Crossing.
I know, right? It’s crazy to have so many crankies at once!
At this point in Forest’s history, it has been set in stone that there will be an era in which Forest is entirely populated by Cranky Villagers. Every villager will eventually be a Cranky, meaning that you will be surrounded by Grouchy Old Men from 10:00 am – 4:30 am, without anyone awake from 4:30 – 10:00. However, this may be a chance to get a cool Cranky, like Static or Tom!
