On Tuesday, I happened to be standing beside Nook ‘n’ Go, and I noticed all the little rain/dampness spots on the roof had different shapes and sizes. So I just took this photo. 😛
Gabi has been sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine Tuesday, Wednesday, and yesterday.
On Wednesday, Marcel told me that he plans to move out of town. I did not try to stop him.
I’ve decided to make a new guide (or two), so I ended up making a new female character, named River. That’s right, the formerly empty house by the river is now the River house. 😛 It’s not just the clementine house any more. 😉
But today, I was surprised to see Wendell waiting for River! He gave River the “mayor’s flag” pattern, which was free DLC sent out via SpotPass WiiConnect24 many years ago. I guess it was still saved on my system somehow. But wow, I had no idea it would still deliver this!
I won’t be playing as River very much (at least once I’m done with what I’m working on), but it will also give me additional storage space. I could always store more flowers, candy, or patterns with her. We’ll see.
I switched back to Jeff, and I saw that Gabi was finally over her cold today. She thanked me for the medicine by giving me a bow. (A bow meaning the weapon, like the one that shoots arrows.) 🏹
And Kapp’n had some different dialogue I don’t normally see; he assumed that I live in a drafty tree fort! What the heck, Kapp’n?
If you plan on making a new town at any point, or a new character in your town, feel free to check out (and/or bookmark) my new ACCF Face Guide!
The DLC would not have been through SpotPass but with WiiConnect24. The Wii U did not support WiiConnect24 so I am surprised you would have been able to get it after a system transfer.
I am wondering if you keep playing as River, Pete will give you more of the DLC or if Wendell will give River the Guard’s Uniform?
Nook outside in is Nook ‘n’ Go uniform seems a bit out of place.
Oops, that’s right. SpotPass was on 3DS, WiiConnect24 was on Wii. It’s been so long. Yeah, I was surprised by that too.
Yes, I agree about Nook. I’m so used to seeing him in Nook ‘n’ go that I forgot how ridiculous that outfit was, outside of the shop setting. 😆
I do believe this is the only occasion where tree forts, drafty or otherwise, were even mentioned in the entire franchise.
