Yesterday, I received Egbert’s goodbye letter in the mail. I’ll miss the guy, but I’m sure we’ll meet again in one game or another.
Saharah was in town, and she was looking for old carpets.
I asked five villagers for some, and Gabi was the only one who had something to give me. I planned on asking more villagers, of course…but the clock struck midnight and it was too late. Unlike some other special characters, Saharah is pretty strict about her “quest” ending exactly at midnight. I guess she’s afraid she’ll turn into a pumpkin or something. So I just put my old flooring into storage for next time.
Today, the fishing tournament was held. And, as usual, I was too late to participate. 😛 But Chip informed me that Tom won the tourney by catching an 84.1-inch tuna. That’s a big tuna! (Is it named Jim?)
I heard a balloon present flying by, and I shot it down against the backdrop of the northern lights. There was a fire bar inside the package, which explained why the hot air kept the balloon afloat…but not why the string didn’t burn. Hmmm. 🤔
I made my way over to the Roost, and I asked K.K. for a random song. He performed Forest Life for me, which is always a good song. 🙂
If you haven’t yet seen the video I posted last Sunday, here it is: City Folk Moments #18.
Once you’ve watched the video, you’ll know why I gave Nana this catchphrase when she asked me for one tonight: Nanamuffin.
See you all again soon! As a reminder, Festivale is coming up on Monday. Check out my Festivale Guide if you need a refresher on how it works!
