Hide and Psychic

Mint is now over her cold, as she told me in a letter. She sent me a ranch bookcase to thank me for the medicine I gave her last week.

Astrid told me that she was thinking about moving out of town.

Astrid: Yes, I'm thinking it might be time to leave this town, hop on.

Even though she’s only been here for 3.5 months, I didn’t try to stop her. I just wasn’t in the mood to put any effort into keeping her around, when I don’t really care about a mediocre kangaroo. 😛 Not to mention, she lived in Forest just a few years ago anyway.

Near River’s house, Nana asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek with her and her friends.

Nana: Some friends and I were just about to play a quick round of hide-and-seek!

She gave me 15 minutes to find her, Mint, and Roscoe. Mint was the first one I found; she was hiding behind Nook ‘n’ Go. Her snooty personality was showing, and she somewhat angrily asked why I didn’t find the other hiders before her.

Mint: Oh! By the way, why didn't you go find other people before you found me?

I later found Roscoe behind a tree, and with eight minutes remaining, I found Nana peeking out from behind my house.

Nana peeks out from behind my house during a game of hide-and-seek.

Nana gave me a mega alloid for winning the game, and she wondered if I have ESP. She even suggested that I should become a telephone psychic. 😛

Nana: Have you ever given any thought to becoming a telephone psychic, sparkles?
I knew you were going to say that.

Later on, I attended K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show at the Roost. I asked for a random song, and he performed K.K. Steppe for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Steppe.
