Tom Too?

On Thursday morning, I played the game and recorded my full session. If you’d like to see it (30+ minutes of gameplay), here is the video.

Today, Ruby said it was time for her to have a fashion makeover. She asked if her style was cute or sassy, and I said it was sassy. That was apparently the wrong answer, because she was offended. (So why ask me if she already knew?)

Ruby: Eek! Ohmigosh, like, NO WAY! Pop star, do you just blurt out whatever pops into your head?
If I did, I would’ve told you you’re an alien with evil red eyes.

When I visited Tom, I was very disappointed to see he was all packed up and ready to move out of town. 🙁

Tom: Take care of yourself, now! Remember not to take advice from anyone about anything, or Jerry!
At least he left with another good use of his catchphrase. 😛

This actually has some similarities to what happened a couple days ago in Wild World:

  • Wednesday: My 2nd favorite ACWW villager (Peanut) moved out without warning, after 3 years in town.
  • Today: My 2nd favorite ACCF villager (Tom) moved out without warning, after 4 years in town.

It’s been a disappointing week for villager movement. But goodbye, Tom! Good luck in your new town! I hope Jerry doesn’t track you down wherever you end up. 😛

(Big Top is probably my favorite villager here, and Bones is my favorite in ACWW.)

Speaking of Big Top, he had an easy request for me today. He asked me to deliver a gift to Antonio, when Antonio was standing right there.

Big Top: Okeydokey then. I'd like you to take this to Antonio, please.

The gift was a No. 4 shirt, and Antonio put it on right away. When I turned back around, Big Top rewarded me with a manor wall. Don’t you wish all favors were this easy?

As for good bugs, I caught two agrias butterflies (worth 3k each) this afternoon, as well as a Raja Brooke (2,500 bells).

Later on, I went to see K.K. Slider’s show. I asked for a random song, and he performed K.K. Reggae for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Reggae.

Note: Grizzly bought my ladybug (the one on Thursday from the video) for 304 bells. Not exactly a huge payoff, but at least someone found a use for it.

Sharks and Fireflies

Today, Curly asked me if I have an ant.

Curly: So, Jeff, you have an ant, right?
Yes. And I have an uncle, too!

He was asking about an ant that I caught off of a piece of candy. He wanted me to trade it for a kitchen wall, and I gladly agreed to the offer.

Now that June is here, there are some notable new bugs and fish available to be caught. That includes sharks and fireflies, and I spent waaaaaaay too long trying to get a screenshot that included one of each. I caught a few sharks, but they weren’t near the part of the river where I would also see fireflies. So here are screenshots of a shark and some fireflies, separately. 😛

I also caught my first emperor butterfly, tarantula, goliath beetle, rainbow stag, and ocean sunfish of the year. 👍

As big as this is, it still looks small compared to the ones in New Horizons.

I also got scared by my first oak silk moth. 😆 But we’re just one month away from the peak bug-hunting season (July and August). I plan on having another fun summer of hunting bugs (and sharks) this year. 🙂

At the Roost, I asked K.K. Slider for a random song. He performed K.K. Jazz for me, which is definitely not one of my favorites.

Here are a few other quick notes about today’s session:

  • I found a lovely lamp in the recycle bin. It looked like Bushido! 😉
  • I shot down a balloon present that contained a robo-sofa.
  • Mint bought a sea bass from me for a whopping 211 bells. 😆
