Yesterday, I received Curly’s goodbye letter in the mail (as expected).
At Nook ‘n’ Go, I saw Tom Nook was selling a silver slingshot (in addition to a regular one). I didn’t need it, but I took a screenshot anyway. It was worth a shot. 😉
Patty was telling me that she ran into Pete, and he kept talking and talking…boring her to death. So she gave me an excuse to use if he keeps blabbing to me. 😛
I saw a big fish shadow in the river, and I fished out this dorado. I took this screenshot mid-flight. 😛
On the same day that I received Curly’s goodbye letter, I actually saw Curly in the city! He didn’t seem to recognize me, sadly. But he told me about his shopping routine…as Yuka walked by! 😱
The Bug-Off was held today, and Nat informed me that Monty was the winner. He caught a 63-point walkingstick to secure the win.
My other monkey wasn’t having such a good day. Nana was sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine. Get well soon, Nana!
Mint was telling me about a beauty tip she read in Ms. Nintendique magazine: It recommended bathing in mint tea! I’ve seen this dialogue before of course, but it’s funnier now because it’s Mint talking about mint tea. So she’s bathing in…herself?
I went over to the Roost to check out K.K. Slider Saturday night show, and he performed “K.K. Cruisin'” for me. 🚗
Antonio asked me for some doll-like furniture, but I couldn’t find any for him. I even shook trees to find the two furniture items, but they were just a cello and a cabin couch. I checked the lost-and-found too, and I had no luck there either.
But while I was at the gate, I also asked Booker who was in town. I knew Nat was in town for the Bug-Off, but I was surprised to see Booker refer to him as “the bug master.” 😆
What a title to have, haha.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I’ll see you next time! Never Stop Crossing!
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually really like Yuka. Is that ok?
Of course! My opinions of some villagers were shaped by my early days with the GameCube game many years ago. We all have our own experiences with the villagers, and our own preferences. There’s nothing wrong with liking whoever you like. 🙂
