Flighty Bird, Mad Bird

It was snowing in town today, and that’s always a welcome sight in this game. Not only is it pretty (especially during the holiday season), but it saves me from watering some flowers. This is the only Animal Crossing game in which I’m still actively watering flowers, after all.

I don’t water all of them, of course, since most of my flowers are gold roses that are immune to wilting. But I do have other flowers that I use in various spots to regrow grass, and the snow gives me a reprieve.

Big Top asked me for a new greeting today, and I decided to tell him to say “I’m circus-bound.” It goes well with his catchphrase.

Big Top: I'm curcus-bound! A huh huh huh! That's pretty cool, in a tent!

When I walked into Midge’s house, I was disappointed to see that she was all packed up in boxes. She’s moving out…again!

Midge: I think you can tell by looking, but I've decided to move out of Forest for good, I eat bugs.
For good? Somehow I doubt that…

If it seems like Midge is always leaving, there’s some truth to that. She also moved out in 2019, before returning (and leaving again) this year. But that’s not all, because she also moved out of my New Horizons town twice in that span as well! She just flies in and out of my life so frequently. I’d say she’s flighty, but that’s probably obvious since she’s a bird. 😉 It’s like Forest is a revolving door on a bird hotel.

I shot down a balloon present, and it fell to the ground with a thud. Inside, I found a scale. I guess that’s one way to drop a few pounds. 😉

I rode the bus out to the city, and Becky was there, as pleasant as always. 😛 She complained about the slippery surfaces caused by the snow, demanding that somebody salt the ground. She even threatened to sue! You’d think a bird could just fly over any slippery spots, but what do I know? 😛

Becky: But someone had better get some salt down! If I slip and fall, I'm going to SUE, chicklet!

Later on, I went to the Roost for the Saturday night show. I asked K.K. Slider for a random song, and he performed K.K. Rally for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Rally.

That’s all I have for tonight, but I’m hoping to play again on Christmas Eve. It’s not a sure thing though, and I might not have time to post a blog entry even if I do play. But I’ll be back at some point next week with more. If I don’t see you before then, have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄

Never Stop Crossing!
