I saw Nana and Roscoe having a conversation yesterday afternoon, but it was already over by the time I got to speak with them. They were both depressed, and Nana said she needed some alone time. No problem, monkey, I understand.

Over by my southernmost bridge, I found Wisp’s empty lamp!

It was too early in the day for Wisp, so I came back later after 8 p.m. I had to make a full circle around town before I found him outside of town hall. He said he was scared of the dark!

I told him I found his lamp, and he slipped inside of it. I had to go into my attic to rub the lamp and summon Wisp. He asked what I wanted for a reward, and I decided to ask for a hat. How cool would it be if he gave me a crown? But he ended up giving me an outback hat instead.

I decided to put it on for now, but I probably won’t wear it for long. But I’ll wear it for at least one g’day, mate.
Today, I found Rosoce all packed up with his belongings in boxes. He’s riding off into the sunset. Have a nice journey, Roscoe! We’ll probably meet again someday.

Chip was in town for a dab-only fishing tourney today. I caught just one fish, and it happened to be a dab.

I took it over to Chip, and he measured it for me: 23.6 inches. That was (significantly) larger than Felicity’s 19.2-inch dab, so I took over the top spot. My prize was a cabin wardrobe.

It was only about 1 p.m. though, so I wasn’t liking my odds of it holding up for the rest of the tourney.
Big Top asked me for a mole cricket, so I listened for one as I walked around town. I eventually caught one and took it back to Big Top…only for him to give me a centipede in return! That’s the last thing I would ever want!

Antonio has been sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine yesterday and today. Get well soon!
I ended my session for the afternoon, but I returned later to find a letter in the mail from Chip. To my surprise, I won the tourney! That’s really lucky when you consider I only caught one fish! Chip attached a silver trophy to the letter.
I then went over to the Roost to check out K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. I asked for a random song, and he performed K.K. Cruisin’ for me. An oldie but goodie.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I’ll see you next time!
Now that Roscoe’s gone, who is your longest tenured current villager now?
I believe that would be Antonio, who has lived here since February 2023.
