It’s official: Kabuki is no longer a Forest resident. I got his goodbye letter in the mail today.
Drift the frog was sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine. Hopefully he’ll start to feel better soon.
Pascal was in town, so I went down to the beach and found a scallop for him. His “words of wisdom” this time said that if you never win a game, you still have a perfect record. Sounds like the Browns last year. 😛 Anyway, Pascal gave me the sea view (wallpaper) as my reward.
Today, I posted the latest episode in my Mario Plays ACCF series. This time, Mario plays hide-and-seek, recovers a lost key, and meets Pascal for the first time. And of course, there are some Mario related surprises throughout the video. 🙂 Here it is:
If you have any feedback about the video, or questions about my town of Mushroom, feel free to ask in the comments on this page or on Youtube.
Have a good weekend!
Well since you insist, what direction are you going in regarding Mushroom’s look? Is it going to be the obvious Mario-themed town with a bunch of different patterns and areas/worlds/etc, or is it something else? I’ve noticed that you’ve been breeding red roses, but I need more information… 😛
Also, I know I’m not the first person to say this, but I love the way you edit those videos! Keep it up!
Honestly, I haven’t given too much thought to the look of the town outdoors yet. I’m probably not going to go overboard with patterns, since making them is so time-consuming on City Folk; you can’t use QR codes like you can in New Leaf. I am open to suggestions though, so if you have any ideas, feel free to share.
I always breed red roses to start getting some black roses, which I can eventually turn gold. I don’t have any plans to use them in any certain way yet, but they’re good to have on-hand. (Flowers that don’t wilt will be helpful when it comes to perfect town status). For now, I put the black rose in my house so it doesn’t die in the meantime (since I’m not playing daily).
Thanks! It’s a lot of fun making these videos. I always want to keep adding new things to the video. For example, the ice skating clip from Galaxy (when I caught the pond skater) was a last-minute addition. And I’m learning new video editing tricks (simple as they may be, they’re things I didn’t know how to use before) that I’ll use in future videos.
Do you plan to make Mario’s house a Super Mario themed house from the balloon presents?
I’ll probably make one room like that, but not the whole house.
