Friday Night Forest

I opened my gate shortly after 10:00 tonight, and TZ came in. I watered my flowers and checked my mail. There was a letter from Mint, thanking me for getting her medicine the other day. She sent me a wobbelina.

To: Jeff, Thanks to you, I'm back to my fabulous self. Please watch out for this bad cold going around! -From: MintFor the most part, TZ and I were just catching fish and bugs. It’s still August of course, so there were a lot of good ones out tonight.

T Zelda: Got a elephant.Surprisingly, no one else came in, and TZ left around 11:25. I was feeling tired so I laid down while I still had my gate open. I fell asleep, but I woke up about 11:45 to the *DING* that announces an arrival. “Someone’s here, saving…”  but it never finished, because it disconnected.

I started the game back up and opened up my gate. Mike came in. Turned out he accidentally shut his Wii off while he was plugging in his keyboard. After we caught bugs and fish for a while, he wanted to go into Scott’s beach house (the obstacle course house). We did the chair glitch. It works really well in there.

Using the chair glitch to merge in ACCF.At almost 12:30, Jon came in. He’s the Jonathan I had on my roster before, but he recently restarted. When Mike kept “accidentally” picking up (or eating) tiles (patterns), I noticed I could place patterns underwater. At least they appeared to be underwater when the tide was rolling in. Then I ended up putting Mike in water prison to punish him. 😛

Mike: I WAS HUNGRY.They both wanted to hear the 1 a.m. music, so I stayed on until 1:00 a.m.  But just a few minutes after, we got disconnected. So I called it a night.

I caught lots of valuable bugs and fish tonight: 3 scarab beetles, a blue marlin, a shark, several oak silk moths, a rainbow stag, a golden stag, and much more. I ended up making about 200,000 bells tonight. Unfortunately, some of that may have been lost in the last disconnect, so I’m not sure how much of it actually saved.

Merry-Go-Round

Today, Wendell was in town. I wasn’t interested in any of his patterns, so I didn’t feed him anything.

So I went around watering my flowers; I have not seen rain in quite a while. I found a new black rose today, and a few black roses turned gold. (I’ve been letting some of them wilt lately so that I could convert them into gold). I shot down a balloon present and got a brick block. And of course I talked to some animals along the way.

Ruby: Astro projector! Good evening! ...I guess?I went to the city to check Crazy Redd’s new items, and he had an item I needed for my catalog checklist. In fact, I don’t even recall seeing this item before: A merry-go-round.

A merry-go-round item in Animal Crossing: City Folk. You can turn it on and it spins. It reminds me of the old Yo-Yo ride at Geauga Lake (a former amusement park). I’ll keep it in my basement for now. I bet I’ll get some comments from visitors asking what it is. 😛

Drawing a Blanca

Rosie approached me today and told me she was thinking about leaving Forest. I didn’t object, since she’s not one of my favorites.

While out watering my flowers, I saw a white cat. At first it gave me Merry flashbacks, but it was actually Blanca–the cat without a face. She asked me to draw her a happy face…so I did. Kind of. 😉

A cross-eyed, ugly happy face for Blanca.Blanca: Hee hee! My face has a real happy vibe going on... I think.Once I was done, I stopped by The Roost and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee.

Brewster hands me my coffee at the Roost.
