Friday Night Forest and Wisp

Here’s the video of my Wisp encounter tonight.

Before opening my gate, I made a quick trip to the city. It paid off, because it was raining there. I came back to Forest and opened my gate about 10:07 p.m. Bushido came in right away, and Ronnie (dressed as a clown) was right behind him. I found an empty lamp on my bridge.

Jeff: I see magic lamp.A couple minutes later, TZ came in, dressed as Bushido. She seems to change her look every week, but I certainly wasn’t expecting her to look like Bushy, so I got a big laugh out of that. I joked about not being to tell Bushy and TZ apart, and I carried the joke on way too long. Well past the point of being funny at all. 😛

I found a four-leaf clover near my house. I also ran into Curly, who found a way to make himself more appealing. Mmm, ham.

Curly: I'm made of ham!!We were catching fish and bugs for a while, and Ronnie was entertaining us with bubbles.

Ronnie blows bubbles and Jeff tries to catch them with a net.We also hung out in my house for a while.

Bushido, Ronnie, TZ, and Jeff hanging out in Jeff's house.T Zelda: My tiki torch! Jeff: Yoga Flame! There was some unfortunate drama that hastened the end of the party. So by 11:35 or so, everyone was gone. I left my gate open until midnight, but nobody else showed up. So I closed the gate and decided to look for Wisp, since I found the empty lamp in town earlier. But first, I listened in on a conversation between Curly and Del.

Curly, to Del: You look like you haven't had a good, solid belch in weeks, you valve! As I walked around town, I didn’t see Wisp. I was about to give up when…

?????: Hellooooo. Sorry if I startled you. I know it can be scary at night.I found Wisp and gave him the lamp. He told me to rub it in the attic of my house, so I did.

Wisp: Oh! Hellooooo! Say, thanks for finding my lamp! That was really great of you.Wisp: But first, can we head back to your attic? It smells like old wood, and that makes me happy.Of the choices he gave me, it was an easy decision. I didn’t have weeds that needed to be pulled or roaches that needed to be squashed, so I took the furniture. Turned out to be the paper lantern. Nothing exciting.

Wisp: What do you want me to do? Jeff: Give me stuff! The paper lantern on display in my golden furniture room.

Kiki, No Seeking, Rosie Urinal, Arapaima

I went to the city to check for the solemn painting. Redd didn’t have it, but I noticed my old friend Kiki was in the city. She used to be in my town, last year I believe. So I said hello.

Kiki: I'm not sure I brought enough spending cash...When I got back to Forest, I started watering my flowers. I saw Saharah, who was looking for old carpets. Curly found me and wanted to play hide and seek. Since it was between 5:00 and 5:30, I was busy looking for Pete, so I declined. (Pete’s appearance during that time rules out a Gulliver fly-by for that day, and I’ve been trying to track Gulliver down).

Curly: Well, whatever. Here's the deal. Hide-and-seek. For all the marbles. Rigth now, you valve!I also saw Rosie along the way, and she offered me a “lucky” trade. I would get her four-ball shirt and she would get my men’s toilet. (Why does she want that? She could just use Francine’s urinal instead). I went on and accepted her trade. I don’t know if the lucky trade actually results in an increase of luck or not, but I kind of doubt it.

Rosie: Huh? What do I want? Oh, I dunno... I want your men's toilet!Continuing on, I saw a large shadow in the river. That’s always good, so I fished it out and it was an arapaima.

I caught an arapaima! It's about time-a!By the time I was done, only two of my animals (Nana and Ruby) ended up giving me old carpets. I checked my storage, but I didn’t have any in there either, so no rare carpet for me today. I’ll save these two for next time.

I never found Pete, so I knew there was at least a chance Gulliver’s UFO could fly over. I left the game on for a couple hours (checking in the first ten minutes of each hour for the UFO, but it never came). One of these days, Gulliver, we will meet again.
