Seagull on the Beach

I shot down Gulliver’s UFO yesterday, so I knew he would be on the beach today. So checking for him was the very first thing I did.

An unconscious Gulliver lies on the beach near his crashed spaceship in ACCF.I woke him up and handed over the spaceship part he needed, and he gave me…the Mouth of Truth. For some reason, I always want to call it the Mask of Truth. Oh wait, I just figured out why. The Mask of Truth was that mask in the N64 Zelda games, the one that let you talk to those weird stones and decipher their messages. But anyway, back to ACCF. I put the Mask Mouth of Truth in my basement to check it out.

The Mouth of Truth I got from Gulliver in Animal Crossing: City Folk.It still changes its face when you press the A button. And even though it makes the shock/disbelief sound, it doesn’t visually show the little burst thing around your head when you would normally do that emotion. On GameCube, it did. And that made it more dramatic. Oh well. I’m still glad to get my first Gulliver item on City Folk. I’ll have to keep trying to shoot him down again and again until I get that Metroid. 🙂

I then watered my flowers, finding one new black rose tonight. At 10:00, it was time to open my gate. T.Zelda and Ben came in.  T.Zelda had some cool Final Fantasy patterns that she made and put on display.

T Zelda: lol twin moogles.I also noticed in Chief’s house that he has three different clocks, all lined up in a row. He must be the most punctual wolf in Forest. Ben and T.Zelda left around 11:00 and I got out my GBA and played some Mario’s Picross until Georgie came over. We hung out for a while, but nobody else came. It’s been pretty quiet in Forest the past few Fridays.

Jeff: Chief has 3 clocks in a row.

I Did It!

I did my daily watering routine and found one new black rose today. But the big news is what I did later on. I’ve been using ACC’s Gulliver/UFO FAQ, trying to finally shoot down the UFO (since I had never done it, despite playing the game a LOT over the course of the past 2.5 years). I’ve had some close calls, but today is the day…that I did it.

Shooting the UFO down for the first time in ACCF!I picked up the gear piece, and I’ll have to find Gulliver on the beach tomorrow to get my item. But the hard part is done. I really really hope I get a Metroid. 🙂

Saharah

It was raining here in real life today, so I was hoping it would be raining in Forest too, so I wouldn’t have to water my flowers. No such luck. So I started my daily walk around town, watering wilties along the way. (Yes, I call them wilties, haha). I saw Antonio walking on water:

Antonio appears to walk on water.Haha just kidding. The river turns up there, but it looks like he’s walking on the water, doesn’t it? 😛 I found Saharah was in town, looking for old wallpaper.

Saharah: Too bad. Yes, very too bad. You should bring me wallpaper. Yes, bring me!My newest villager Chief, who has quickly become one of my favorites, was happy to give me his old wallpaper.

Chief: All right, go patronize the arts or whatnot. I hope you get something good for it, harrumph.Tipper also gave me her old wallpaper. But no one else did. Well Bob mysteriously went missing; I couldn’t find him anywhere. Maybe he was using the litterbox. But fortunately, I remembered I had an old wallpaper in storage, from last time. So I took the three old wallpapers to Saharah and got the desert vista.

The desert vista wallpaper on display in my ACCF house. Not bad, but I probably won’t keep it. It was one I never had before, so at least I was able to check it off my catalog checklist. I hope Saharah is looking for carpets next time, because I really need the lunar surface. I’ve been wanting to make a space room for ages, but I never got the lunar surface. 😛

As for flowers, two new black roses popped up today….sweet! That’s four in two days, lucky me. 🙂
