Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog

Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So each blog entry will usually cover multiple "game days." If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in!

Day 40

I had a chat with Celia the eagle out on the street today. She told me that she wanted a house with regal furniture to make her feel like a princess. So I decided to give her a castle.

Indoors, I gave her the regal furniture that she asked for. I don't really think the regal furniture looks that great, but the customer is always right. I also gave her a throne so she can be the ruler of the house.

It's kind of interesting that these homes have no budget. All of this furniture doesn't cost anybody anything! Wait, does that mean I'm not getting paid by my employer? Typical Tom Nook!

Upon completion of her house, Celia taught me the disbelief emotion. I uploaded her house to the Happy Home Network; you can use the code 0400-7712-939 to visit it.

Day 41

Tabby was outside today, and she wanted her home to be a spooky abandoned hospital. I've always thought Tabby was rather scary-looking, and seeing that Nintendo associates her with a spooky theme just seems to confirm it! Several such items are unlocked for this project, including a creepy skeleton, a skeleton figurine, a skeleton hood, and a mummy mask. I put a couple of creepy skeletons in the yard, along with some black lillies that are also newly unlocked. Come to Tabby's Hospital, where the patients are dying to get in!

Indoors, I was able to use the ramshackle wall and floor. I also used some hospital equipment, some skeleton items, and some scattered papers on the floor. K.K. Dirge plays nonstop in here.

Tabby still has that freaky grin even when she's unconscious.

To visit this hospital, if you dare, use the code 0197-7715-920.

When I was done, Tabby taught me the "amazed" emotion. As in, I'm amazed she's able to sleep in here.

Thanks for stopping by!
