Shari told me she was thinking about moving out of town today…and I decided to let her go. So she will be moving out tomorrow.
She was one of my starting villagers (along with Louie), but it’s time to let her go. She’s been my 2nd-least favorite villager (behind Rizzo), and she’s had a good four months in town. I wish her well, but I’m ready to get someone new on this island.
C.J. was in town, and he wanted me to catch three small-time fish in a row. But that wasn’t going to stop me from catching this arapaima.
It took me a while to find the small fish I needed. It’s actually easier to find large fish than small fish in New Horizons. But I completed C.J.’s challenge, and I was able to sell him all my fish at a good price (including my arapaima and a dorado I also caught).
Celeste was also in town, and she gave me a recipe for an iron wand.
I made one, and it just looks like a pipe! Maybe I could use this as a weapon against any rabid rats I may encounter. 😛
One of my Nook Miles+ goals was to go diving and catch three sea creatures. So I did just that. One of the critters I caught was a vampire squid. That’s a new one for me, so I donated it to the museum.
A few other quick notes:
- My 5th gold rose appeared today.
- I had a bunch of new black roses, but I just started selling them. I already have more than I need for now.
- My town rating was (temporarily) down to 4 stars, thanks to the leftover frog suits I forgot to put back up after yesterday.
I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow. See you then!
What uchi villagers do you have or used to have in your new leaf town
I don’t have any in New Leaf right now, but I’ve had Canberra, Fuchsia, Katt, Pashmina, and Tammy before.
My Gate is open Jeff please come DVGY7
Hey jeff it’s tyler helt I send a friend request
Sorry, but I’m not currently accepting new friend requests. Perhaps in the future though.
Shari leaving is almost as good as when Baabra left my island. Her replacement is Portia, whos ok.
Hey you now how a month or two ago how I asked if I you could let people have the villagers that move out. Well Shari is my favorite Sisterly. I would love to have her.
Aww shari’s leaving. I’m kind of neutral on her. I like that she looks like a cleaning monkey, but she stole bangle’s catchphrase and now everyone says grrowlf. Now I’m looking to replace her. Any good uchi(sisterly) villagers that you’d think I’d like?
My favorite uchis are Cherry, Mira, and Pashmina. Like any of them?
Yeah cherry has always been a dreamie and Mira is cool as well. I never thought jocks and uchi’a could be on mystery islands, in till I saw coach and canberra😵😷 SO glad I got curly and Shari instead!
I LOVE Mira! She was one of my first two villagers!
Oh and if you let me have Shari please contact me with the email I use.
Hedgy, I sent you an e-mail.
Hey I was wondering if I could have Shari? I have an open plot so if I can have her that would be great!
Didn’t you not like Shari when you first met her?
Yeah, I didn’t like her at first…and honestly, she’s still not one of my favorites. But she was very nice, and that made it hard to dislike her as much as I did at the beginning.
I’m really excited to see who moves next to Forest. Sadly, as other commenters pointed out, random villagers moving to your town are likely those pesky animals that could not find a home elsewhere. I think spending a few tickets for a suitable resident might be a good option, although waking up to a sold sign from an unknown buyer is also quite exciting!
Yeah, I will try a few mystery islands at least before opening my gate on Friday. But I’m okay with taking my chances if need be. Random move-ins have always been part of the game, and I’m okay with that.
Hey Jeff I have a few spare nook mile tickets if you want to do a villager hunt
That’s not necessary, I have plenty of Nook Miles myself. But thank you for the offer. 🙂
When you have an open plot, make sure your friends dont have any villagers you dislike moving out of your town. Just trying to help.
That’s not really something I can control (unless I stop opening my gate completely), since I don’t know who will be visiting each week. But I will try to take a few mystery island tours before I open on Friday, to see if I find anyone good. If not, I’ll just take my chances.
