Even though I’ve been trying to keep a shark in my pockets (mainly for fun during multiplayer sessions), my villagers don’t want to let me do that. They keep asking for the sharks. Today, it was Hornsby’s turn.
But at least this was a better deal than some others I’ve had lately. Hornsby gave me 19,500 bells, which is a really nice payday! I’ll just have to catch some more sharks to keep on hand. 😛 Plus, Hornsby was thrilled that I agreed to sell it. He said he’ll even draw a picture of me and put it on the door to his snack stash.
After chatting with everyone, I went diving with the sole intention of finding a scallop and seeing Pascal. To my surprise, I found it on my very first dive! I gave it to Pascal, and he shared some words about cats landing on their feet.
Hmm, that’s probably not the wisest thing that Pascal has said. But everybody has an off day from time to time. 😛 In return for the scallop, he gave me a pearl.
Not much else was going on today. I played again later tonight, to see if Wisp or Celeste would show up, but no such luck.
However, I did post my treasure hunt video today. I hope you enjoy it!
loved the tresur hunt
Speaking of amiibo cards, I kinda have up on finding Marshall, so I bought his amiibo card. I never used a amiibo card before, so hopefully it’s good.
Not that you have any (right now), but let me tell you that Amiibo villagers are not as permanent as in New Leaf. A random camper offered to take the place of an Amiibo neighbor (I declined that request since the only reason I tried to convince that person to move in was to replace someone else I’m still trying to get rid of). Then the moving bug bit that same Amiibo villager twice (me saying no both times). I’ll let that person go *eventually*, but not while there are two others I want to leave first.
Thanks, that’s good to know. I still don’t plan on using Amiibos anytime soon though.
Slow day in Forest tonight, so I thought I might ask you an unrelated Arrested Development question: did you like the final season? To be honest I was a bit disappointed, but I think the series ended in a high note (in a similar way that the original series ended, too). Probably unpopular opinion but I really liked season 4’s original format, it was really clever and trying to go back to the old format in the final season shows its lackings (since the actors couldn’t always stay together). That being said, I’d like to hear your opinion. Also I like your Sudden Valley area a lot!
By the way: if you have any bushes, the hydrangeas are about to go out of season, it’s hibiscus season now, so you might want to change them.
Have a good night!
I’m not a big fan of seasons 4 or 5, to be honest. I think I liked season 5 a bit better than 4 though. Season 4 just had so many awkward, uncomfortable, unfunny scenes that just seemed to drag on forever.
Both seasons had some funny moments, they were just few and far between, especially when compared to seasons 1-3. And so many of the characters didn’t feel like themselves. They didn’t just change, they became entirely different people. They did things they never would have done in the early seasons.
Thanks for the tip about the hydrangeas, but I’m not sure if I’ll bother with changing them out. Not that I have many, anyway.
Curly did the same thing only with a dorado. He offered 15000 which is a fair price so I let him. What I didn’t know however, that he put it is is house. And now he’s the 5th villager with a dorado in their house. First was Monty(before he left) Celia, hippeux, Fang, and bunnie. The rest ask for stuff I just have 0 chance of getting. Gayle asks for coelanths and fish is asks for scorpions, which are rare.
