After wishing on a bunch of stars in Pawnee last night (and a couple in Forest as well), I found quite a few star fragments on the beach today.
There were 12 regular star fragments, three Leo fragments, and one large star fragment…just on my first run. I later found an additional Leo fragment and two more regular star fragments. That’s a grand total of 19!
While fishing in the ocean, I caught my first ray. It covered my whole face!
Tia wanted to apologize to Agent S, so she had me deliver a steampunk costume to Forest’s nuttiest squirrel. Agent S loved it!
She rewarded me with a kappa costume.
C.J. was in town, and he had a fishing challenge for me: I had to catch three “big-time” fish in a row. So I snagged two black bass and an olive flounder to complete the mission. But C.J.’s presence in town allowed me to do something even better: Clean out my large shark/fish collection I had in storage. I’ve been saving these just for C.J.
He gave me a whopping 327,000 bells for them all.
As I mentioned on Sunday, I recently downloaded the Nintendo Switch Online app. Not only does it allow me to see my dream visitor count (currently 3,116), but I can finally use QR codes as well! This makes it much easier for me to use designs in my town since I don’t have to make them all by hand. I already replaced my banana design (on the banana stand) with a better-looking version, and I also added Lakitu near Rainbow Road.
The bad thing is that most of my pattern slots are currently being used by Rainbow Road and the frog race course. But I have a few open pattern slots, and I’m sure I’ll be using them in the fairly near future.
I saw on the bulletin board that two birthdays are coming up next week: Tybalt on the 19th, and Lopez on the 20th.
The daily glowing spot was in an unusual spot today: my flower garden! It was in a spot where it was surrounded on all side by fences or flowers! I wonder if the recent update changed where the glowing spot can appear, because it used to only appear in wide open areas.
I found a scallop today, and Pascal gave me a D.I.Y. recipe for a mermaid lamp. Finally, something new!
At my house, I used my wardrobe to set up a couple more wand outfits, a pirate and a bear. (I’m still missing pieces for the pirate outfit, so I substituted the shirt that says “GOLD” for now). π I also ordered a couple items from my catalog for another outfit.
But speaking of pirates, Rizzo acted like a pirate when he asked me to go on a treasure hunt. And his catchphrase fit the situation perfectly! π
He gave me six minutes to find the buried item, but it only took me two and a half minutes. My reward was a collarless shirt.
With that, I wrapped up my game for the night. But I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow. And for those on my Switch friend roster, I do plan on opening for Friday Night Forest this week.
Update: I have now added a Forest Island page. It shows my current map, list of villagers, dream address, town history, and more. Check it out and let me know what you think!
“Sitch”= situation. I didn’t know people still said that.
Oh yeah recently I got a photo of Bea! This marks my first villager photo! π
Awesome! Congrats! π
1. Rizzo is now officially a lawyer.
2. I was watching your Dream Town video and you made a survivor reference. Glad to know a fellow survivor viewer.
Also Shari today said she left her toaster at Forest her old home. So if you ever find it please return it to her π
I actually don’t watch Survivor any more, but I used to. I kinda got tired of the same players returning all the time; Boston Rob for the 800th time? No thanks. π
Exactly! Though there have been good seasons since then. Most of the new player only seasons have been good.
Rizzo is now into law? I guess heβs Rizzo the rat lawyer π
I’m so glad they expanded how many custom designs we have and also the fact that Pro designs don’t tale up space of normal designs. That’s something I can get behind!
My birthday is on Lopez’s birthday, the 20th, so I’m hoping something good happens to him and me, hopefully. Also, I hope for some new changes to come soon.
(P.S. My name is almost the same as yours, LOL!)
