My Namesake

When I visited Lopez today, I saw that my buddy Hornsby was there for a visit. Lopez was telling me about his rocking chair, and how it was custom engineered to hug his butt. However, it was Hornsby’s (considerably larger) butt that was hugging his chair at that particular moment. 😂

Lopez: In layman's terms, it's like a cloud hugging my butt!

Accessing the Nook Stop machine today earned me enough Nook Miles that my account total hit 500,000 miles! There’s not really much point to it, but I thought it was an interesting milestone anyway. I know, I’m weird. 😛 I may use some of them soon though, because I want to visit some mystery islands and stock up on weeds and bamboo. (Again, I’m weird, haha.)

The counter displays 500,200 Nook Miles.

K.K. Slider was actually performing at the plaza on a Saturday for a change (*gasp*). 😛 So I asked him for a random song, and he played Rockin’ K.K. for me. Midge, Keaton, Agent S, and Rizzo were also in attendance.

When I went diving for scallops, Pascal gave me a DIY recipe for a mermaid chair. I made one and put it in my room.

As I mentioned recently, I was informed that Tybalt’s name in French is Jeff. Thanks to Anna on Youtube for pointing this out to me.

Anna: You always have fun ideas of games! Also, I dreamed of Forest and enjoyed the visit! Did you know that in French, Tybalt's name is Jeff?

I wanted a visual example of this, so I checked my Welcome Amiibo cards. While Tybalt’s card does indeed show his other language names, I didn’t have that card. I was thinking about asking someone to take a screenshot for me, but then I thought of something. The language can be changed in the Switch menu, so I could do it myself! And that’s what I did. Here’s a pic of Jeff greeting Jeff. 🙂

Jeff: Salut, Jeff! J'esperais justement te voir, grouaaah.

The last fireworks festival of the year is coming up tomorrow night. I’ll be opening my gate for friends at some point. It’ll likely be sometime around 9 p.m. Eastern time (6 p.m. Pacific), but I suggest checking my Twitter for a more precise time. See you all then!
