Gullivarrr sent me my reward today, and it was part of the pirate outfit. Unfortunately, it was a pirate dress. I wish the pirate costume was just regular clothing you could buy at the store. I hope no one was counting on wearing a pirate costume for Halloween, because I doubt many people will get the whole outfit in time.

At the shop, it looks we’ll still have to wait until tomorrow (October 1st) for all of the new Halloween/update stuff to arrive. But there was at least a ghost umbrella for sale, so I bought it. 😛

Up at Able Sisters, Sable had some dialogue thanking me for helping out Label.

Keaten thought up a new nickname for me, DJ JEF.

Flick was in town, so I grabbed some bugs out of storage. I sold him 11 bugs, for a grand total of 98,250 bells.

At town hall, I decided to change up the exterior of my house for the Halloween season. My house will be mostly black for a while.

Yesterday, Label was in town, and she wanted to see me in a work outfit.

She gave me a staff uniform to use as an example, but I also grabbed a chef’s hat from out of storage. Even though they don’t necessarily match, they’re both considered work items, so it…worked. Labelle liked the outfit, and she gave me a Labelle cap.

Today, it was Gullivarrr that was in town…although I didn’t exactly have the most flattering angle to see this pirate’s booty.

I went diving in the ocean to find his communicator, and it showed up on my first dive. He’ll be sending me a reward in the mail tomorrow.

Keaton told me he was thinking of moving out of town, but I put a stop to his plans.

The latest update arrived tonight, and the latest version number is 1.5.0. Nintendo sent a letter thanking me for downloading the update, and they attached a Ring-Con to the letter. If you’re not familiar with the Ring-Con, it’s the accessory used in Nintendo’s “fitness adventure” game, Ring Fit Adventure.

I don’t think it’s particularly useful in New Horizons, but I’m sure someone out there will come up with a good use for it. 😛

Since it was already 10:00 by the time I played post-update, Nook’s Cranny was already closed. So I couldn’t check the shop for pumpkin seeds tonight…although they may not be available until October 1st anyway.

I didn’t receive any of the new DIY recipes either, even though I hung out for a while to watch for balloon presents. 😛 So this update doesn’t exactly have an immediate impact on the game, unless you were really dying to get that Ring-Con item for some reason. 😂 But I’ll be back with more soon.

Agent S told me she’s been reading comics lately, and one thriller in particular: Forehead Secrets. It’s about some foreheads figuring out which forehead “did the thing.” Hopefully they can put their heads together and solve the crimes.

I cleaned up my town a bit today. I moved my gold roses to the beach, and I also organized some of my other flowers (as I continue to breed more orange windflowers and hyacinths). I also made additional pattern changes as I get ready for Halloween. Sudden Valley is now Death Valley, and D.K. Country is now Decay Country.

I’ve updated my dream (address 6717-1633-3682) to reflect the latest changes.

K.K. Slider was in town today (bumped to Sunday because of the Bug-Off yesterday). I asked him for a random song, and he played Spring Blossoms for me, Apple, Keaton, and Tybalt. He must have his seasons mixed up. 😉

After the show, I just did a little Nook Miles grinding (not that I need the miles). I then wrapped up my game for now, although I might check back later tonight to see if Wisp is around. If I find him, I’ll update this entry. Otherwise, I’ll see you next time!
