Yesterday, my pumpkin plants yielded another crop. So apparently it’s every two days that more pumpkins grow. Not bad.
It was raining in town, which saved me some time from watering. And Gulliver was in town, washed up on the beach. I dug up the five pieces of his communicator and returned them to him.
Hornsby was sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine. He thanked me by giving me a biker jacket.
Also, Lopez taught me a recipe for a spooky lantern.
Today, I received my thank-you letter from Gulliver. He sent me the Tower of Pisa as my reward.
I’m glad he sent a furniture item this time, instead of some silly accessory. But I’m not sure how or where to use it, so I’m leaning towards putting it into storage for now.
Leif was in town again today, which makes twice in the first week of October. I bought some more pumpkin starts and some more orange windflower seeds as well.
I bought another spooky arch at Nook’s Cranny, but I’m hoping to get the recipe for this one soon. I plan on replacing my stone arches with spooky arches, so I’ll still need four more.
Hornsby was talking about the Halloween decorations around town, and he wondered if it was ghosts putting them up! No, it’s me!
Lopez taught me a new D.I.Y. recipe for a spooky standing lamp, and I got the recipes for the spooky chair and spooky candy set from balloon presents. Even though I hated using up three pieces of candy so soon, I made the candy set and put it on the table at the amusement park.
Between the entrances of Death Valley and Decay (D.K.) Country, I put a pattern of Wrinkly Kong. She’s a Donkey Kong character, but she’s also a ghost (in later games, at least). So it fits both themes; I can’t resist things that have a double meaning (such as puns).
I cleaned up a lot of the extra flowers that appeared overnight (because of the rain yesterday), and I moved some flowers around. I haven’t updated my dream yet, but I’m going to try to do that tomorrow.
See you next time!
