Fish Slop, Nose Glop

Yesterday, Flick was in town to buy bugs. I sold him two scorpions and a tiger beetle (that’s all I had) for 26,250 bells.

In front of town hall, Bones was singing K.K. Dirge for Midge and Rizzo. They were sitting on the ground like children, seemingly fascinated by the song. It was cute!

I almost want to call him B.B. Slider.

Today, I found Gullivarrr washed up on the beach. As usual, he was missing his communicator.

Gullivarrr, looking for his phone: So long as I've got me trusty ol' communicator, I'll be just...uh.

I went diving in the ocean and found it on my first attempt. He’ll be sending me a gift in the mail tomorrow.

When I visited Hornsby, he went on and on about how much he liked his argyle sweater. He said it goes with everything…even bug dirt, fish slop, and nose glop. 😮 That’s disgusting! 😛

Hornsby: Snack dust, oolong tea, bug dirt, fish slop, nose glop...this outfit goes with everything, schnozzle!
Don’t act like a pig. You’re not Daisy Mae.

Tia had a new nickname for me, and it’s one I don’t think I’ve heard before: J-bug.

Tia: I'm so glad you like it! Looks like I'll be calling you J-bug from now on, with cream.
Now I’ll fit right in on Hornsby’s shirt.

Later on, I found Wisp hanging out in Pumpkin Park.

Wisp: YEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!

I collected his spirits for him, and he gave me a sepia puzzle wall.

As you probably know, Animal Crossing villagers sometimes share their catchphrases with other villagers. But for once, I actually witnessed that exchange. I saw Tia standing behind a tree, and I couldn’t really tell what she was doing. So I spoke with her, and it turned out, she was talking with Bones. Bones complimented her catchphrase, and she told him to use it. And just like that, he adopted the catchphrase “with cream.”

Tia: Thank you very much, with cream! Feel free to use it yourself.

Yesterday, I posted Wi-Fi Moments #14, with Halloween-themed online highlights. Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet!

Gyroid Gyroid

For just the second time, I bought some turnips from Daisy Mae this morning. Her price was 100 bells apiece, and I bought 1,000 of them.

Daisy Mae: Alright, so 1,000 turnips comes to...100,000 bells. Does that sound OK to you?
Sure, and I’ll give you a tip: Wipe your nose.

I had a lot of unwanted flower buds to clean up, after the rain yesterday. But I want to keep my town looking nice, so that I can record a new town tour video later this week.

I found Midge reading while sitting on the ground outside her house…right next to her new bench. She repeated the new greeting I gave her a few days ago. 😉

Midge, sitting on the ground: My eggs hatched!! Glad to see you, fly with me.

Later, I listened in on a conversation between Apple and Agent S. They were discussing a band named Gyroid Gyroid that was supposedly on TV last night.

Apple: Ohmigosh! Gyroid Gyroid was on TV last night! Performing LIVE!

They were fangirling over the band, and their great lyrics.

Agent S: I SO TOTES KNOW THAT YOU TOTES KNOW! YOU KNOW?!

I crafted some more spooky furniture and put it in the main room of my house. Just ignore the turnips for now. 😛

I moved my mermaid furniture to the basement.

Wisp was in town, up on the cliffs tonight. I found his five spirits and returned them to him, and he rewarded me with a velvet stool.

Wisp: Here, have... a velvet stool!

If all goes well, I’ll be posting a new Wi-Fi Moments video tomorrow!

Scary Night in Pawnee

It was raining in town today, and Keaton was out in the rain for an odd reason: He said he was method acting, playing a guy who forgot his umbrella.

Keaton: What am I doing out in the rain? It's called method acting! I'm playing a guy who forgot his umbrella.

I found a lost item (a bag) on the ground, so I investigated. The bag had buttons and pins of different pop stars, so I knew it either belonged to Agent S or Apple. I took it to Agent S, and sure enough, it was hers!

Agent S: Thank you SO much! This thing's been missing for forever!

She was thrilled to have it back, and she said I deserved a totally fab reward. So she gave me…a sweatshirt. Oof. Haven’t I earned her photo by now?

K.K. Slider was in town, and he played one of the worst K.K. songs: K.K. Song. Tia, Midge, and Hornsby joined me in suffering through this song, in the rain.

K.K. wraps up a song.

Alex from Pawnee invited me over to his town tonight, so I headed over about 9:15. His friend Megan joined in, as did Logan. Apparently Jj and Nami were also trying to join in, but they couldn’t. So Alex tried ending the session and reopening. I waited several minutes and then returned. But it was still the same issue: Logan and Megan could enter, but not Jj or Nami.

Anyway, Alex showed us his new ruins on the beach. It reminded me of some areas in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. 😛

The Pawnee ruins.

He pitfall’d me there, and Logan pitfall’d me a bit later on. 😛

Logan pitfalls Jeff.

And to think I’ve been nice and haven’t been using (many) pitfall seeds lately. Maybe I need to start again. 😛

Alex had a number of Halloween decorations and horror scenes around Pawnee, including this one featuring an evil doll and an axe.

A horror scene in Pawnee.

After Megan left and the rest of us went for a swim, we went over to Alex’s house. His main room was decorated in spooky furniture, and there was even a scary movie on TV!

Alex: There is even a horror flick.

Around 11:00, I returned home. Thanks for the fun, Alex, Logan, and Megan!
