Academic Painting

At Nook’s Cranny yesterday, I noticed that the shop now sells Turkey Day items. And as Franklin promised, the pack of Turkey Day DIY recipes is also available for those who didn’t unlock it on Thursday.

Tommy: Seems like you're interested in a Turkey Day chair.
I bought this chair for my room.

Jolly Redd was in town, so I checked out his art. His scary painting and famous painting were both fake, but his academic painting and ancient statue both looked real! Usually there’s only one real one, but I was glad to see an exception this time. I already have the ancient statue in my museum, so I bought the academic painting.

Today, the painting from Jolly Redd arrived in the mail. I took it over to the museum, and Blathers confirmed its authenticity. But when I went into the gallery, I didn’t even notice it at first. I wasn’t expecting it to be so small! It’s not much bigger than the information cards beneath each painting!

But still, it sure is nice to get something new for the art gallery!

K.K. Slider was in town for his usual Saturday night performance, and Agent S informed me that she’s totally in love with him! 😛

Agent S: Going to a concert for an artist you are totally in love with is, like, SUPER exciting!
Aren’t dogs supposed to chase squirrels? Not the other way around…

I asked K.K. to play a random song, and he played Steep Hill. It’s a sad song, but it’s one of my favorites.

For once, I’m looking forward to getting my house judged by the Happy Home Academy tomorrow. Since I replaced my exercise equipment with the complete Turkey Day set, I’m expecting a significant jump in my score. Hopefully it will reach 150k, but we’ll see! 🙂

I’ll probably be back with another blog entry tomorrow. I’m going to try to buy some turnips from Daisy Mae in the morning, since I forgot last week. Hope to see you then!
