Pirate Pants, At Last

I received my gift from Gullivarrr in the mail today, and it was some badly-needed pirate pants!

Trying on the pirate pants.

Of course my pirate outfit is still not complete, but it certainly helps to have some pants. Finally, I don’t have to walk around pantsless every time I dress as a pirate! 😛

Saharah was in town, and I bought everything she had except for the small rug. I ended up with a pink heart rug, straw wall, red-and-blue checked rug, and paintball flooring.

Saharah: Speak to me again when your pockets contain more emptiness.

When I visited Bones, I was afraid he was going to eat me! 😮

Bones: Oh man...so yummy... C'mere... I wanna fit you in my tummy... Huuoouuuaahhhh!

Just kidding. He was just dreaming…of eating somebody. 🤷

I was happy to find Celeste over by the museum tonight. She taught me the recipe for a Sagittarius arrow.

Celeste: Oh, good evening! Aren't the stars just exquisite tonight?

Over at Peach Park, I made some more changes. I added another waterfall to the east, and a small piece of land just south of it. I had to trim some of the land west of Midge’s house to keep the river from becoming too narrow, but it worked out pretty well, I think. But I may not be done with the area just yet…

An updated look at Peach Park.

I shot down some more balloon presents and learned a recipe for a leaf stool. But I also got a duplicate mushroom wreath recipe, which I’ll add to my free DIY pile for the next time I open my gate. And speaking of which, I just want to let you know that there will be no Friday Night Forest this week.

I’ll be back with my Turkey Day blog entry tomorrow, and I’ll be posting my Turkey Day video on Friday morning. So be sure to check them out!

I found Gullivarrr washed up on the beach today. I went diving for his communicator, and I found it on my first attempt. He will be sending me a gift in the mail tomorrow.

Gullivarrr: Arrr... Buccaneer? That's a bit out of me price range. Could I talk ye into a discount for both ears? Zzz...

Tybalt was hanging out in a weird place today. He was sitting under an apple tree, but right up against his house (and facing his house). It just looked really awkward.

In other news, Keaton asked about moving away. I told him to stick around a while longer. I don’t want anyone to leave before Rizzo right now. Once Rizzo is gone, I may consider letting some of the others leave…including Keaton, and maybe Midge as well (after I get her photo, of course).

Over the last few days, I’ve been working on some changes to Peach Park. I’ve actually been planning on these changes for months, but this seemed like a good time to do it since I had to remove my old Halloween decorations anyway.

On a new piece of land that juts out into the river, I added a cliff and some small waterfalls. I also changed the direction of the path, added more benches, replaced the pond, added more peach trees, and so on. Oh, and the park is larger now. Here are two pictures of Peach Park 2.0.

Note that it still isn’t 100% complete, because I want to add more flowers. But even besides that, it feels like it still needs something else. I’m just not sure what.

Working outdoors has resulted in me getting more balloon presents than usual, and I’ve finally started to get a few more of the seasonal recipes. That included the mushroom wand, maple-leaf umbrella, mush partition, and maple-leaf pochette. I believe tomorrow is the last day for maple leaves (and maple leaf recipes), but we have until the end of the month for the mushroom stuff.

By the way, I posted Wi-Fi Moments #15 today, including some aerobics in the plaza. I hope you’ll check it out!

See you all next time! 🙂

Yoga Time

Yesterday, K.K. Slider was in town and he performed K.K. Blues for me. Later on, I completely removed my Halloween race. I have no immediate plans for this area, but I will certainly make another game or race at some point in the future.

A bit empty field where my Halloween race once stood.

I found yet another lost item from a jock–the same book with “xtreme xercises” written on it. I returned it to Tybalt, and he gave me a pilot’s uniform.

Today, I had a camper…Rocket the gorilla. There’s no way this thing is moving into my town!

Rocket: Hey, do you live out here? You do! What's up, temporary-neighbor!
Hey, temporary camper.

This afternoon (well, early evening), I had Sandra and Jac over for some aerobics and yoga. 🧘

Jac, Jeff, and Sandra do some yoga near town hall.

It was nice having them over for a bit, and I recorded something that I’ll use in the next Wi-Fi Moments video.

I received my weekly letter from the Happy Home Academy, and I earned 137,066 points this time. That’s a bit higher than last week, but not significantly. But that’s about what I expected, since I didn’t really change my house much since then. 😛

Turkey Day is coming up on Thursday, and many of my villagers have been talking about it. Apparently, Franklin is considered a celebrity chef…and Agent S thinks that food cooked by celebrities is just better.

Agent S: Ooh, I can almost taste it now... Food made by celebrities is just better, up a tree!

Later on, I found Wisp over near Rainbow Road. Although I still haven’t added the rainbow back to Rainbow Road (it’s still Halloween-colored), I plan to do that soon.

Wisp: AAIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!

I collected Wisp’s spirits and returned them to him. In return, he gave me a brown-brick wall.
