During Isabelle’s announcements yesterday, she said that we’ve had the first snow of the year. Except, that wasn’t true. I had the game open at various points throughout the day and night, and I never saw a single flake. In addition, no new flowers buds appeared today…so I’m pretty sure she was lying. 😛
Billy the goat was camping at the campsite yesterday, but I was not interested in inviting him to town.
Label was also in town yesterday…but I don’t want to talk about it. 😛
Today, Midge said she was thinking about moving out of town…but I quickly changed her mind for her.
Now that December is here, the island is gearing up for Toy Day. Resident Services and Nook’s Cranny have decorated for the holidays. (I bought a blue down jacket at Able Sisters to keep me warm.)
And Nook’s Cranny has started selling toys!
I bought a couple of those tin robots to give as gifts to my villagers.
Celeste was in town, and she taught me a recipe for a windflower wand. Why do we need so many wands?? I wish we could at least choose the category of recipes to get from her, because all I care about is getting those space recipes.
When I gave Bones a tin robot, he responded in an unexpected way: He gave me his photo! 😮
Bones is my newest neighbor, only having lived here for a month and a half. I’m happy to get his photo, but it is surprising to get it this soon! Especially when Agent S, Midge, and especially Louie have lived here much longer.
Rizzo asked me to catch a wharf roach for him, and I agreed to help out (just to boost my “Smile Isle” friendship requests score). Once I tracked one down, Rizzo responded by giving me his photo as well! 😮
Rizzo’s photo seemed unlikely for a different reason than Bones: It’s because I don’t particularly like the guy. I’ve given him garbage, a kitty litter box, and holey socks. I’ve tried burning his house down, and I’ve even put him in jail. 😛
But that wharf roach request actually was my 100th request fulfilled, so I earned 2,000 Nook Miles for reaching that milestone. I put my two new photos in my house, moving them from the back wall of my bedroom to the side wall.
Bones’s favorite quote is the same as it was in New Leaf: “A snack a day keeps the vacuum away.” I really like that quote a lot, but I really love how fitting Rizzo’s quote is:
“Evil lurks everywhere!” Even Nintendo knows Rizzo is evil! 😂
So after nearly two months of getting no new villager photos, I got two in one day…and they were probably the two least likely ones. As for photos of Louie, Midge, and Agent S, I’ll still be trying, hoping, and waiting…
I haven’t even gotten any villager photos yet…I give them gifts all the time 🙁
Yeah, it can be frustrating. 🙁 Don’t give up, though! Hopefully we’ll get them soon!

Hmm, looks like you play in night that’s why there was no snow it might have snowed in the day, I got my first snowfall on November 27th it started snowing from 2pm and lasted till the next day

That’s so strange, I just got 2 villager photos too 1 right after the other! 1 was from a villager that just moved in a month ago and the other was a villager I don’t talk to much but was living here for a long time.
I just got the 100 Smile Isle reward not too long ago as well so do you think it has something to do with that?
