The Nooklings were paying 238 bells for turnips today, so I sold all that I had. I made sure not to leave any lying around my house this time. 😉 Timmy paid me 357,000 bells in total.
One of today’s Nook Miles+ goals was to catch five fish, so I did just that. Surprisingly, three of the five were red snappers and one was a football fish! The other one was a sea bass, but that’s still a good ratio.
Gullivarrr sent me my reward in the mail, and it was some pirate flooring. It consists of many gold coins, along with some assorted jewels. Too bad I can’t swim in it like Scrooge McDuck. 😉
It didn’t take me long to find both of today’s items in trees. The 2nd tree I shook had a magic kit, and the 6th tree had a spinning wheel! And not only that, but the first rock I hit was the money rock! That was an efficient use of time today. 😛
Tia was in Rizzo’s house, and she kept pushing him around! 😂
I visited Agent S, and she apparently likes all the toys I’ve been giving her. She had four of them on display! That included the dinosaur, race track, puppy, and helicopter.
Jolly Redd was in town and he had a fake serene painting, a quaint painting that I believe is real, a mystic statue that I also think is real, and a beautiful statue that I had no idea about. I bought the quaint painting, but I also bought Redd’s two other non-art items. They were different color variations of the typewriter and diner neon sign that I didn’t already have.
I found a lost item (a bag that had a book in it), and I returned it to Midge. She thanked me and rewarded me with a quilted down jacket.
While I don’t intend on going all-out with Christmas decorations in town like I did for Halloween, I do still want to include a few festive areas and holiday puns. I have a few in mind already. Since Redd was in town, I thought it was a good time to put this one up.
I’ll be showing more of my punny designs in the coming days. 😛 See you all next time!
How do you make those cool patterns? I saw your awesome pattern for Halloween too and I was wondering if you made them by hand :0
No, I don’t make them by hand. The characters are either official renders, or from one of my own screenshots. Sometimes I use free backgrounds with them, and I put it together in photo-editing software (well technically, I often use my video-editing software) with text. I then use acpatterns.com to edit them (to make text more legible, etc.) and then convert to a QR code. So it’s not by hand, but it’s still a lot of work sometimes.
