Yesterday, Gulliver sent me my latest reward (a turban) in the mail.
I went diving to meet a Nook Miles+ goal, and I caught an octopus… So I removed the birdhouse next to Marina’s house and put the octopus there instead. 🐙 😛
Today, I found a lost item (a book) on the ground. It’s a love story, and I suspected it belonged to a “normal” personality villager. But when I asked Marina about it, she said it belonged to Eloise instead…so it’s a snooty thing after all.
I returned the book to Eloise, and she rewarded me with a tweed vest.
Jolly Redd was in town, so I checked out his selection of art for sale.
He had a real jolly painting, a fake serene painting, a perfect painting that looked real, and a warrior statue I wasn’t sure about. The warrior statue was the version that I’ve seen more often–so I think it’s most likely fake. But since I already have the two real paintings in the museum, I took a chance on the warrior statue anyway. And then I’ll know for sure which version is which.
I’ve spent hours searching for the golden trout over the past three days. And at 11:30 tonight, it finally paid off! I’ve now caught all the fish in the game, and my Critterpedia is complete! 😀
That earned me 3,000 Nook Miles for completing the Island Ichthyologist goals. I promptly donated the golden trout to the museum, and Blathers congratulated me on completing the fish section of the museum. Woohoo!
I believe I’ll be getting my golden rod recipe in the mail tomorrow, so I’ll be back with another entry then. Hope to see you then! 🙂
