Yesterday, I found a lost item on the ground. It was a bag with some gym clothes inside. Now that Louie is the only remaining jock in town, I knew the bag belonged to him. So I took it over, and he rewarded me with a figure-skating costume.
I bought a cute bed at Nook’s Cranny, and I wrapped it up and gave it to Marina. She enjoyed it so much that she gave me her photo in return! 😮
I took it home and put it in my house. Her favorite quote on the back is “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” This is my 14th villager photo.
After I finished making my rounds, I grabbed six Nook Miles tickets and headed to the airport. However, I wouldn’t need all of those tickets. On the very first island I visited, I spotted my long-time GameCube buddy, Static the squirrel! I immediately invited him to Forest.
I completed a few Nook Miles+ goals while I was there, and I also picked up as many weeds as I could. When I returned to Forest, I ran into Wisp. I gathered up his spirits and he gave me some tatami (flooring).
Today, I went over to meet the newest resident of Apple Lane. Welcome to Forest, Static!
Celeste was in town tonight, and she gave me a large star fragment. I think this confirms that I’ve finally received all of her recipes.
At the plaza, Eloise, Hornsby, and Louie were grilling some food. It smelled delicious! 😉
Saharah was in town, so I bought the mysterious wallpaper and carpeting. It turns out that they matched! It was the white-chocolate wall and the white-chocolates flooring. But I just sold them to the Nooklings since I don’t have much storage space free.
If you haven’t yet heard the news, Nintendo has confirmed that The Roost will be coming to New Horizons (accessible through the museum) in November. And that’s not all; we’re getting an Animal Crossing dedicated Nintendo Direct in October! That seems to indicate that we’re finally getting a significant update to the game! Sweet!
