Yesterday, Gulliver sent me a veil in the mail. I don’t like how it looks, so I sold it to the Nooks.
C.J. was in town, and he wanted me to catch three big-time fish in a row. I caught a sea bass, a snapping turtle, and a yellow perch to complete the seasports challenge. I only had three pikes in storage (aside from a few fish I’m keeping to show off), and I sold them for a total of 8,100 bells.
At the plaza, Tia, Eloise, and Apollo were performing Lucky K.K. for anyone that wanted to enjoy the show. Moments later, I ran into Wisp over in Donkey Kong Country. I collected his five spirits, and he rewarded me with a blue-paint wall.
Today, I was happy to find that Louie sent me some art in the mail! It was a familiar statue, and it was the real deal! Not only that, but it’s one I needed for the museum! Redd hasn’t been helping me out lately, so it’s good that someone is! Thanks, Louie!
It’s nice that from certain angles, my art gallery doesn’t look totally empty any more. 😛 Of course, there’s still a very long way to go, but it’s nice to see some progress! At least I think so…
Tia told me that she recently starting knitting coasters. But she got a bit carried away, and now she has more coasters than glasses. 😛
My old New Leaf buddy Kidd the goat was camping at the campsite. He’s a good kid, but I didn’t invite him into town. If I had a free spot, I might have considered it, though.
I finally redecorated the main room of my house. The ice furniture is out, and the spooky furniture is in. I don’t plan on doing much decorating outdoors though. Maybe a few pumpkins here and there, but nothing like I did last year.
Speaking of Halloween, I posted a new Halloween guide yesterday. You can find it here if you want a refresher on how the event works.
The Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct is coming up tomorrow morning! For my real-time reactions, check out my Twitter. I’ll probably post a summary of my thoughts later tomorrow or on Saturday, possibly in video form. See you soon!
