Before I get into what happened today, here’s a quick summary of yesterday’s events:
- The beautiful statue from Redd was real, so I donated it to the museum.
- Wisp gave me a patchwork chair.
- I bought the motherly statue that I mentioned on Monday.
- I paid Tom Nook to install a brick bridge.
Today, the brick bridge was complete, and I attended the opening ceremony.
It’s Eloise’s birthday, so I made sure to attend her party. Agent S was also there. I gave Eloise a baby bear that I bought at Nook’s Cranny, and she seemed quite happy. 🙂
Nook Shopping had this truck for sale, so I ordered one. Yeah, 120,000 bells is expensive, but I have truckloads of money in this game. 😛
It makes me think of a moving truck, so it might be a good thing to place near the home of an unwanted villager. Don’t get me wrong, I like all of my current villagers…but inevitably, that won’t always be the case.
The motherly statue from Redd was authentic, so that meant I had a new work of art to donate to the museum for a second day in a row!! And surprisingly, the entrance area of the art gallery is filling in quite nicely!
I checked the rest of the art gallery, and it seems that I only need 12 more items now! Even though I’m sure it’ll still take at least several months to complete it, I feel like my goal is starting to be within reach! 🙂
In the Roost, I found Apollo enjoying some coffee. He said that Brewster has some special coffee that can be enjoyed at night without keeping you awake. It’s from a place called “Deek Aff.” 😛
Jolly Redd’s ship was parked on the island’s north shore, but he didn’t have any additional art that I needed.
Just a very early heads-up for people on my Switch friend roster: I’m tentatively planning on opening my gate for the New Year’s Eve countdown (for the Eastern time zone). It’s obviously a few weeks away, but I’ll post more details once it gets closer.
