I headed up to Lottie’s Island to work a shift at Paradise Planning this morning. Lottie informed me that it was time to build two new facilities: a restaurant and a cafe. I decided on a restaurant first, so we headed out to the site and I customized the outside of the building.
Once I got inside, Lottie informed me that I can now used colored lighting–so I went with some purple lighting. I added two large imperial dining tables, several smaller tables, several stained-glass (ceiling) lights, a checkout counter, and a salad bar. For the wall and floor, I used a brown hallway wall and a rush tatami flooring.
I also had to design the kitchen, and I added a variety of kitchen appliances, sinks, a kitchen island, a deep fryer, and a fire extinguisher. I used a white-brick wall and restaurant-kitchen flooring in here.
If you’d like to see how it compares to the restaurant I designed in Happy Home Designer, you can see that here.
Once I was done, it was time to assign roles to the chef, apprentice, cashier, and employee positions. Here’s a look at the restaurant staff:
Lottie asked me to name the restaurant, and I decided to call it Animal Cuisine.
We went outside to take a celebratory photo for the grand opening. Bon appetit!
Back at the office, Lottie paid me 25,000 Poki for my work. She also said that she’ll treat us to dinner there sometime soon.
And back in town, Static sent me a skeleton in the mail. I’m assuming it was a threat of some sort. 😛
I found Gulliver washed up on the beach, so I dug up the five pieces of his communicator and returned them to him. He will send me a gift in the mail tomorrow. I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow, so I hope to see you then!
