Froggy Diner

I was surprised to see the Nooklings were selling a dead body in their shop today! Usually they just burn the bodies and dump the ashes in the ocean. 😛

The Nooklings try to sell a dead body (rescue mannequin) at their shop.

Oh, sure, they may call it a rescue mannequin, but I know better. I bought it anyway, because I needed it for my catalog. And I may get hungry later.

At the plaza, I found K.K. Slider. I asked him for a random song, and he performed K.K. Groove for me and Admiral.

Up at the campsite, the robotic octopus Cephalobot was camping! He is one of the new villagers that appeared with version 2.0.

Cephalobot: So far, I like what I'm seeing. 100 percent of Cephalobots would race this campground highly.

I always liked the look of him, but he looks even better in person! My town is full…and most of you may know how I don’t like forcing anyone out. However, I really wanted him, so I decided to at least check to see who he would potentially replace. As it turns out, he would have replaced Marina…so I told him no.

Cephalobot: Terrifico! Would you mind if I discuss the sitch with Marina?

Part of the fun would have been to have the two octopi in town together; maybe they could even date. 😛 But I wasn’t willing to let Marina go just yet. However, there are a few villagers I would have let go…it just didn’t work out this time.

A bit later, I went out to Lottie’s Island. I checked out my restaurant, and the chef Lionel gave me a new cooking recipe! Even though it was one I already had (orange marmalade), it is pretty cool that you can get more recipes by speaking with the chef!

Over at Paradise Planning, I saw that I wasn’t forced to design a facility today (unlike yesterday). But I wanted to make the café anyway. Here’s a look at the exterior:

The exterior of the cafe in Happy Home Paradise.

Inside, I used a lot of the diner furniture, customized in green/aquamarine. I also used the green retro flooring and black two-toned tile wall. I put my frog design on the diner neon clock. Thankfully, I didn’t have to design a kitchen this time.

Froggy Diner

Lottie and Jeff at the Froggy Diner.

For the name, I decided to call it the Froggy Diner. I really wanted to use froggy chairs, but they weren’t available for some reason (even though they are in my catalog). 🙁 I hired Tybalt and Bianca (two tigers) to join the staff, and we all took a celebratory photo.

Back at the office, Lottie paid me 25,000 Poki for my work. I enjoyed making the café more than I enjoyed making the restaurant yesterday.

That’s all I have for today. See you all next time, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
