Able Sisters had cowboy shirts for sale today, and I bought a blue one for Beardo. It’s one of the rare times that I actually gave a gift to him, but he was quite happy with it. 😂
At the plaza later on, Bones seemed to know what I’ve been up to lately!
As you can see, K.K. Slider was in town for his usual Saturday night concert. I had a special request, but I think he misunderstood…
That request was supposed to go out to Beardo! 💀 Oh well. K.K. played one of his “error” songs, and it was pretty good. It’s nice to hear something different for a change.
Peaches was camping at the campsite. And something about her just doesn’t look right in New Horizons; I think it’s those cross-shaped eyes. They looked okay in the older games, but they really stand out more (in a bad way) in high-definition.
At the museum, I donated the graceful painting I got from Jolly Redd, and it was the real deal!
I only need one more painting to complete the museum!! Unless it takes me more than 9 months to get that last one, this will be the quickest I’ve completed the museum in any game. Redd’s stand on Harv’s Island has helped immensely.
Trivia: I only need one more painting in Wild World, too! (Not the same painting, though.) Imagine how crazy that would be if I completed both museums on the same day. 😂 Unlikely, sure, but not impossible.
Later on, I headed out to Lottie’s Island to work a shift at Paradise Planning. Gayle the pink alligator wanted a vacation home where she can feel the prairie winds.
She insisted on a pergola outdoors, and I also added a windmill, a kids’ tent, a couple of triangular topiaries, a hammock, a hay bed, and some of the other recommended items. I made her house pink to match her skin.
Indoors, I used a meadow vista wallpaper, wildflower meadow flooring, and an assortment of wooden furniture. When possible, I customized the wood to be pink. It’s simple, but I like how it came out. It’s a cute little home.
Back at the office, Lottie paid me 15,000 Poki for the job. She then told me Wardell went out for a walk. I found him sitting on a log on the northern beach, where he was once before. He taught me some new soundscapes that mimic the sounds of cities and forests.
I hope you’re all having a good weekend. See you next time!
