Taking a Bath

I visited Ketchup on Wednesday, and she was talking about her French fries. She said they were 15 hours old, but she finally got them presentable enough to eat.

Ketchup: This food is about 15 hours old, but I think I finally got it looking fab enough to eat!

Except those are the fries that I gave her many weeks ago. They’re a lot older than 15 hours…or even 15 days. 😛

Yesterday, I found a new recipe for a glowing moss balloon out on Lottie’s Island. That sounds a bit gross, to be honest. I crafted one anyway, and it’s a furniture item (not an equippable balloon you can hold).

The glowing moss balloon.

I just hate the idea of having to blow up such a balloon, putting your lips on the green, slimy moss. Yuck! 😂 And then you’re left with lips that taste like moss and look like glow-in-the-dark lipstick. 😛

Today, I finally got around to trying a glitch that I heard about last year. By using an unfinished puzzle or other flat item, you can glitch into a tub or a river. And somewhat surprisingly, this glitch never got patched. So I took a long-overdue bath. 😂

Clean is better than dirty.

I plan on leaving the tub there for future baths and parties. 😛 For full instructions on how to do it, see this video by Restless Trash.

Flick was in town tonight, so I grabbed nine bugs out of storage. Flick paid me 62,250 bells for them all.

I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow. Hope to see you then!

Visiting Onett

On Sunday, Queenie was camping over at the campsite. I have her in my City Folk town, and she has grown on me, but I didn’t invite her to move in here.

Queenie: Well, you're not a shy one, are you? My name's Queenie. How kind of you to stop by.

Dodo Airlines sent me a surprise gift in the mail, a DAL model plane! I thought it would make a good exhibit at my Animal Crossing museum castle, to represent New Horizons.

Gulliver was down on the beach yesterday, and I retrieved his phone parts for him. He sent me a sombrero today.

When I went in my house to get something out of storage, Bones barged in. Since he’s one of my favorites, I didn’t want to kick him out. After we played a card game, he plopped down on my gaming chair for a bit. 😛

Alec invited me over to his town of Onett for a scavenger hunt he made. He posted five rhyming clues on his bulletin board.

Near the campsite, water falls. That is where your present calls.

As I searched around town for each item, I couldn’t help but notice how familiar his town looks. He said he took inspiration from my town, but… I guess I didn’t realize the extent of that inspiration. 😂

A Peach Park lookalike!

He even has an Animal Crossing museum in a castle like mine.

After I found all of the items, we played a few rounds of sumo. I won most of them, but we had one really close one where I kinda lagged out of the ring but then we both ended up in pits anyway. 😛

Jeff and Alec both in pits during a sumo match.

After that, we played a couple rounds of museum tag (we each hid once). We then got some coffee before I returned home to Forest.

Head in the Game

Yesterday, I received a letter from Gullivarrr in the mail. He sent me another pair of pirate boots, although I think they’re both made for right feet. That’s because neither one says “L,” but they both say “Arrrrrr.” (sorry) 😛

Tonight, I found Bones sitting on a bench in Peach Park. He was enjoying a rainbow soft serve cone, and talking about TV shows. He doesn’t like the exercise shows. 😛

Bones: You got news, talk shows, movies, dramas... Exercise shows too, but I always change the channel on those.

K.K. Slider was in town tonight, and I asked him for a random song. He performed K.K. Song for me and Static. As I’ve mentioned before, that is not my favorite song.

K.K. performs for Static and Jeff.

The Nook Miles+ app had a 5x bonus for diving, so I put my wet suit on and went swimming. My 2nd catch was a scallop, and Pascal popped up to ask for it. I let him have it, and he told me his thoughts on “getting your head in the game.”

Pascal: They say you need to get your head in the game, but seems to me that's leaving a lotta limbs on the bench...
Maybe the price of admission is an arm and a leg.

He gave me a pearl in exchange for the scallop.

Not much else was going on tonight, but I’ll see you all next time. Have a good night. 🌙
