Beardo the Anchorman

On Sunday, I learned some breaking news: Beardo was once an anchorman!

Beardo: It's like when I was a news anchor for a brief period of time.
Stay classy.

Hmm, he does look a bit like Ron Burgundy with that mustache, now that he mentions it…

K.K. Slider was in town for his rescheduled appearance, and I told him I was in a good mood. So he played K.K. Disco for me…which then ruined my mood (just kidding). Ketchup, Hornsby, and Marina were also there for the show.

K.K.: Right on, you hep cats and kittens. Jeff's in the mood for K.K. Disco, dig?

On Monday, Beardo mentioned Alex, who visited on Friday night. He really loved Alex’s “stage name.”

Beardo: The Definition of Trash!

He wished he thought of it himself, and I agree. It really describes Beardo well (and not Alex).

Marina asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “oh banana,” which she learned from Louie. I hate when villagers use catchphrases made specifically for someone else, so I changed hers to “eight times.”

Marina: Oh, thank you so much! I'll start using this new catchphrase from here on out, eight time!
Knowing me, you’ll use it a lot more than that.

Today, Naomi the blue cow was camping at the campsite. I had no interest in inviting her to graze in Forest, so she can keep on mooving.

Naomi, at the campsite: Well, you're not a shy one, are you? My name's Naomi. How kind of you to stop by.

Label was in town, and she wanted to see me in some formal clothes. She gave me an emblem blazer to use as an example. I went home to change into a vibrant tuxedo, top hat, and wedding shoes. Label loved it, and she gave me some Labelle socks.

Label: Amazing! I've never seen an outfit so perfectly coordinated!
That’s a lie.

I’m working on putting together the next Wi-Fi Moments video, so look for it in the next couple of days! See you again soon!

  1. When I had Erik on my island, I gave him the catchphrase “let it go” because he reminded me of a certain reindeer from a certain popular animated film. I ended up reporting several people to Isabelle when they started saying it- on multiple occasions!
