Her? Stunning Beauty?!

Rio was sick with a cold last night, so I crafted some medicine for her. She thanked me by giving me a bathrobe.

Rio: Thanks to you, Jeff, I'm on the road to no nose gunk.

Ketchup said she recently had a fight with Beardo (who hasn’t?), and she asked me to make a delivery to him. I agreed to help out, so I took him the folk shirt from the red duck. I was happy to see that it looked awful on him. 😂

Beardo: You know, I really let myself get carried away with Ketchup. She can be...a lot.
Yeah, I always pour too much ketchup too.

Beardo rewarded me with a pedal board.

Wisp was in town, and he gave me a brown diner wall after I returned his spirits to him.

Out on Lottie’s Island, I spotted Tabby. Is it Halloween already? She said the island would make a great album cover…including her stunning beauty. That’s no joke, she actually said that! Wow.

Tabby: This place would legit make the best album cover. Bright, sandy beaches... My stunning beauty...

Tonight, K.K. Slider was in town for his Saturday night show. I told him I was feeling a bit blue, and he played Steep Hill for me. That’s one of my favorites!

K.K.: Feeling downbeat, huh? Well, let me lay that beat down, Steep Hill style.

Interestingly enough, the three villagers there with me were blue too. Literally.

See you all next time! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Label Me a Pirate

Lobo the blue wolf was camping at the campsite today. He even brought his own sandwich, although he didn’t offer me a bite.

Lobo, at the campsite: Heya! I'm just here to do some campin' for a spell. This sure is a nice island.

Label was in town tonight, and she wanted to see me in a theatrical outfit. She gave me a rose-print jacket as an example, but I already had something better in mind: I remembered that the pirate outfit works great for the theatrical theme, so I changed into it (including the beard).

Changing into the pirate suit.

As I tried to leave my house, another beard came in; it was Beardo. I just ran out the door to get rid of him. 😛

Beardo, in my face: Oh, are we headed over to my place now? Just kidding! I'll see myself out.
You are never welcome here.

When I returned to Label, she said the outfit was perfectly coordinated. She rewarded me with some Labelle pumps.

Label: And it all comes together in fashion perfection. Your taste is impeccable, Jeff.

After that, I climbed up a cliff to take a bath and wash my pirate booty. I almost got burned though, because that water was so warrrrrrm!

Pirate Jeff takes a hot bath.

See you all next time!

Crucial Ketchup

On Sunday night, I retrieved Wisp’s spirits for him, and in return, he gave me a baby bed! Maybe he should keep this for his spirits, so they’re not wandering the island late at night. Put them to bed!

Wisp: Here, have... a baby bed!

Yesterday, C. J. was in town. He wanted me to catch three big-time fish in a row for his seasports challenge, so I caught a tilapia, a salmon, and another tilapia. I then grabbed a bunch of fish out of storage and sold them all for a total of 282k.

C.J.: Oh, you got a whole school for me? All together that'll be... 282,600 bells. Deal?

After writing a letter today, I earned 2,000 Nook Miles for writing a total of 100 letters. However, that’s only the 4th of five goals; I still need to write another 100 letters to complete this achievement! I rarely write letters, so that’s going to take a while…

Four of five achievements complete for the Popular Pen Pal goal.

Ketchup asked about moving out of town, but of course I told her to stick around. I need Beardo to leave, not Ketchup. Although he might not be the only one I’m ready to let leave, he is my preferred choice.

Ketchup: I'm, like, a crucial part of this island...right?

Yes, you are crucial to the recipe! I mean, to the island.

There was a heavy meteor shower tonight, and I spotted Rio seemingly looking up at the sky. But I’m not sure if she was wishing on stars or just falling asleep with her neck craned upward.

Rio wishing on a star?

At the plaza, three of my villagers were having a cookout: Bones, Hornsby, and Beardo. Well, two out of three ain’t bad.

Beardo, Hornsby, and Bones enjoy a cookout.

Over the weekend, I posted a new video of highlights from my online play sessions in August (featuring lots of fireworks, of course). Here is Wi-Fi Moments #24:

See you all next time!
