Double Tarantula Trouble

On Sunday, I spotted something unsightly and unwanted: Zipper T. Bunny! I tried to kill it with my net.

Jeff hits Zipper with a net.

He was telling me about Bunny Day coming up next Sunday, and about the plague of eggs that he has hidden in land, sea, trees, rocks, and air…everywhere, really. He also gave me ten water eggs to get me started.

But I hate this time of year when eggs infest everything we do on the island. You have to work harder to achieve many Nook Miles+ goals, because many wood choppings, stones, fish, etc., are replaced with eggs. Ugh.

Yesterday, I found myself up against two tarantulas with my net drawn. I had no hope; there was no possible way this was going to end well for me. 😛

Two tarantulas side by side, both ready to attack me.

I caught one of them, but the other one caught me. After I recovered, I returned to that area and saw C.J. in another tricky spot! These special characters keep doing this lately! 😉

C.J. stands on a narrow platform in my vaulting race course.

Unless he was that other tarantula in disguise… 😛

Today, Gullivarrr was in town, and I went diving to find his communicator. But just like last time, it was taking a while. In fact, I found Pascal before I found Gullivarrr’s phone! Pascal was talking about Stew’s stew, which is dialogue that I’ve seen before.

Pascal: Which came first, folks named Stew, or stew? And if it was stew...what's that mean for my friend Stew's stew?

I know Pascal has other sayings I haven’t seen yet, so I wish he wouldn’t repeat himself. Anyway, he gave me a pearl in exchange for the scallop I found. As for Gullivarrr, it took me seven dives to find his phone. Just like last time.

Wisp was also around tonight. I recovered his spirits, and he gave me a metal pot.

See you again soon!
