Visiting Pawnee

On Sunday night, Alex from Pawnee opened up his town for a gathering, so I headed over. I was the first one to arrive, so he let me explore a bit. I stuck my face into the Tortimer face-cutout standee, and Alex said he used the fish-eye lens on me…so I tried it out too. 😆

A few minutes later, Logan also came over to join in. We continued touring Alex’s town, and we also stopped in to visit some villagers, including Bob. He was making some savory bread…in a frying pan.

We eventually headed over to Alex’s house, and Sam from Seattle came over as well. Apparently, they didn’t realize that this bird mobile could flap its wings.

Everyone shocked that Jeff was flapping the bird mobile's wings.

Alex has posters of his former villagers on the wall in his basement. I like that idea, I might copy it. 😛 Maybe I could even point a cannon at Rizzo and/or Beardo. 😉

We went to the museum for some coffee, and then we played some museum tag. In the first game, I did something stupid while hiding, and Alex found me almost immediately. 😆 When the 5-minute timer was up, I was the only one Alex found.

I was “it” next, so I went outside and counted to ten…stopping at pi, 2pi, and 3pi. 😛

Jeff, as a hot dog: Pi.

After five minutes of searching, I found…no one. I was doing awful. 😆 But my luck changed during the third and final game. Sam was it, and he found Alex and Logan both in the art gallery. But I evaded capture for the full five minutes. Shocking, I know. 😛

After that, Alex ended the session. Thanks for the fun night, Alex, Logan, and Sam!

Yesterday, Bones told me that he’s really proud of his cardboard box. He was talking as if he proved he was responsible and organized. 😆

Bones: I'm real proud that I've got my cardboard box.

Today, Agent S was telling me about a special limited-edition eraser she got inside a candy wrapper. It’s shaped like rice pudding, and it’s from the “Erasing the Forest for the Treats” series. 😛

Agent S: It's from the Erasing the Forest for the Treats stationery series. I found it inside a candy-bar wrapper...

At first, I thought that was based on my town name, but I don’t think it is. The pun on “forest for the trees” wouldn’t work with most island names.

Flick was in town today, and this time I had more bugs for him. I got 18 bugs out of storage, and sold them for 94,500 bells. That helped my savings balance top 59 million bells.
