On Sunday morning, a bowl of turnips just barely caught my eye as I ran past, moving around behind my cliff. 😆 It was Daisy Mae’s head, of course. 😛
She was selling turnips for 96 bells apiece (a pretty good price), and I bought 2,000 of them for a total of 192,000 bells.
On Sunday night, I found Pascal while diving in the ocean. He told me that trees are Earth hair, grass makes a beard, and deserts are bald spots. Perhaps this wasn’t his deepest bit of wisdom. 😛
There was a thunderstorm underway, so I decided to record some gameplay of myself grinding for Nook Miles during the storm. I may post that video this weekend.
I also helped Wisp out by recovering his spirits, and he gave me a stewpot. (Just need to take it home, add some broth, a potato…and baby, you got a stew going.) 😉
Today, C.J. was in town, and he wanted me to catch three big-time fish. I caught a sea bass, a catfish, and a red snapper to complete his challenge. I then sold him nine fish for 26,100 bells. I didn’t have any sharks for him this time, so that total wasn’t very impressive.
My wall of posters of former villagers is nearing completion. Xavier is ordering me several of the posters for me that I didn’t have in my catalog. Thank you, Xavier! 😊 But the funny thing is, when I put the posters in two equal rows, in sequential order based on when they left, Beardo will be directly beneath Rizzo. So one cannon shot can shoot them both! 😆 So convenient!
Are there any of these of these villagers you completely forgot I had in my town? I still regret not keeping Claudia longer. And yes, Midge will eventually have two posters up, assuming I keep this wall up long enough.
I recently posted a video of what it’d be like if Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom characters (I almost typed villagers 😆) narrated Animal Crossing. If you haven’t seen it, here it is. Hopefully it will give you a laugh or two (or at least a smile). Enjoy!
By the way, I’m not having Friday Night Forest this week, but I am planning on it for next week (June 30th). It’s been a while! We will be sure to test out my new (small) obstacle course I mentioned previously, and it will be the last time racing on my vaulting pole race.
One other thing I want to mention: I no longer use the “Also on JVGS” sidebar that shows my latest blog entries, because the plugin I was using caused some problems (and slowed down my whole site). But I still list my latest 5-6 blog entries on the JVGS home page, so check there if you want to see what’s new.
I’ll be back with another entry later in the week (likely on Saturday, for the first Bug-Off of the year). See you soon! 🙂
love the golden leaves in the outro lol
That was a pretty clever quote Pascal said.
