Last night (Sunday night) was the first fireworks festival of the summer. Louie gave me a free sparkler, and then he kept smacking Isabelle as she gave me a bulb bopper. 😛 Okay, maybe he was just clapping for the fireworks, but he did it right in front of Isabelle’s face. 😛

Midge was telling me to look up the fireworks, and her catchphrase blended in perfectly.

And my newest buddy Bob asked if we could watch the fireworks together. Awww…

I hung out at the plaza for a few moments to enjoy the atmosphere. 🙂

Today, Katt the ugly vampire cat was at the campsite. I had no interest in letting her move in and drain this island’s resources…or blood.

Nook’s Cranny was selling an unknown machine, and I bought it for my catalog (even though it cost me 25,000 bells). I ended up wrapping it and giving it to Bob as a gift. But it was kinda funny… Bob was mostly hidden behind Rio, and Rio was in a conversation with Ankha. Right as Bob unwrapped the gift and saw what it was, Rio and Ankha both did exclamation marks of their own.

The timing of it made it look like Rio (and Ankha) were eavesdropping, and they were shocked to hear what item I gave Bob. 😆 Well, it was a pretty expensive gift, after all.

I forgot to buy turnips this week, but I did pick up my weekly free ones at the hospital. I only got 30 of them this week, and I already sold them. 😛

At Able Sisters on Wednesday, I saw they had a superhero mask for sale, so I bought one. (I didn’t have one in my catalog.) But now I can look like an inkling from Splatoon, if that random, specific need ever arises again. 😆

At the plaza, I participated in group stretching for the first time in a while. Kapp’n, Brewster, and even Gullivarrr joined in.

Speaking of Gullivarrr, I helped him out and he sent me a pirate-treasure robe in the mail on Thursday.

Bob came up with a new nickname for me, and I thought it was cute: Tater tot. We already have Ketchup in town, so why not have a Tater tot too? 😛

Yesterday was Bones’s birthday, so I crafted a stone lion-dog for his birthday gift. He seemed to be surprised by it (in a good way, I hope).

His next-door neighbor Midge was also there to help him celebrate.

Later, I found Bob and Rio sitting on a bench together at the plaza. They were both enjoying a cup of coffee. ☕

Flick was in town, and I sold him 155,000 bells worth of bugs.

This morning, Pascal popped up and shared his thoughts about ducks playing dodgeball. 😛

Ankha was crafting something interesting…a pile of cash. 😆 Too bad we can’t craft this in real life. 😛 💰

Speaking of cash, my savings account balance topped 64 million bells tonight.

K.K. Slider was in town, and he performed one of my favorite songs: K.K. Faire. Ketchup, Bob, Agent S, and Louie were also there for the show.

I found another scallop while diving Sunday, and Pascal popped up to tell me that “square” is a state of mind. 🟦

He gave me another pearl for the scallop.

Yesterday was my character’s birthday, so Bones kidnapped me and took me to his house. Punchy and Ketchup were also there, and they all wished me a happy birthday.

They also encouraged me to beat the life out a poor piñata. 😛

There were ten birthday cupcakes inside, and I gave some of them away to villagers who weren’t at the party.

K.K. Slider was in town, and he performed K.K. Birthday for me. Agent S, Rio, Bob, and Midge were also at the show. Some birthday greetings from Bones, Ankha, Mabel, and Tommy were displayed on-screen during the song.

The Nooklings had an upright piano for sale, so I bought it. I also ordered a painting set, so that today, I could finally craft a street piano.

It was one of those recipes that I’ve had for ages, but never actually crafted (until now). I know I still have many more such recipes, but at least I got one of them out of the way. 😉

I shook a tree near the bottom of a ramp tonight, and wasps came out. I ran up the ramp, got my net out, and started swinging. After several swings, I still had not caught the wasps…but they didn’t catch me either! They dispersed, and I was safe! Are they not able to get me when I’m on a higher level? I didn’t think that would be a problem for them. But I’m not complaining. 😛
