On Sunday, Ketchup asked me to play a treasure hunt game. She gave me six minutes to find the buried treasure, but I didn’t find it in time. It’s rare for me to lose these hunts, especially when I had the full six minutes. Once I did eventually find it, Ketchup demanded the gift back. 😛
Tuesday (March 12th) was Midge’s birthday, and I attended her party. I gave her a clarinet as a birthday gift. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but my gift blew her away!
She thanked me for the gift, and she said she hopes she can celebrate her next birthday here on the island too.
Agent S was also at the party, and she seemed to be having a good time. She genuinely enjoyed seeing Midge so happy. Awww. 😊
Yesterday, just three days after Midge said she wanted to be here next year, the bird already changed her tune. She wants out!
She has lived here for 11 months in this stint, and over two years in total. So I decided to let her go (again). I’m sure we’ll meet again soon enough, if history is any indication. 😆
I went diving a bit later, and I found a scallop. Pascal popped up and started talking about runners’ second wind.
Today, Midge was all packed up to move out of town. So long, Midge! It’s been nice having you around. Twice. 😉
I recently put together an animated line chart race showing my savings account balances in each Animal Crossing game. Give it a watch if you’d like, it’s only a minute long:
Here are a few other quick notes about this week:
- On Monday, I sold 9 bugs to Flick for 57,000 bells.
- Ketchup was sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine. In return, she gave me a striped tee.
- Midge sent me a tee-parka combo in the mail Wednesday, to thank me for attending her party.
- Gulliver sent me a veil Wednesday.
- Yesterday, I sold 13 fish to C.J. for 132,000 bells.
- Today, my savings balance reached 85 million bells.
- K.K. Slider performed K.K. Waltz for me tonight.
I’ll see you all next time, with news of whoever my next villager will be. 🙂
