Fruity Foam Melon

On Sunday, I met a camper that I’m not very familiar with. It was Celia the eagle, and she’s white and green. Quite an unusual color combination for a villager!

Celia, at the campsite: Hi, my name's Celia. I'm here on a camping trip! Do you live on the island, feathers?

I like her unique look, and I could actually picture her living in Forest, particularly on the Bird’s Nest (formerly Eagle Mountain). However, I didn’t want to force anyone out at this time. But maybe we’ll meet again someday!

Of course, sharks are in season now that June is here…even if their fins aren’t as noticeable as they were in the older games. But I actually caught two sharks, back-to-back, less than 30 seconds apart on Sunday: a whale shark and a great white. 🦈🦈

June was talking about how it’s important to drink a lot of water when the weather is hot, and I think that’s a good reminder for all of us! Stay hydrated out there!🥤

June: They say it's important to drink a lot of water in warm weather, so I try to remind myself to stay hydrated.

And from water, we move to the next topic: Watermelon. 😛 I ran into Pascal while diving today, and he suggested that we should call watermelon “fruity-foam melon” instead. I’m not so sure about that, but who am I to argue with a famous philosopher? 🍉

Pascal: Watermelon confuses me, maaan. Why can't we just call it fruity-foam melon? It's not foolin' anyone.

Here are a few other quick notes about the past week:

  • Last Thursday (6/6), I sold 15 bugs to Flick for 78,750 bells.
  • Last Saturday, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Disco for me, Ketchup, June, Agent S, and Merengue.
  • Yesterday, I helped out Gulliver by gathering up his phone parts. He sent me a katana in the mail today.
  • I returned a lost item to Rio, and she thanked me with a layered tank.
  • Flick was back again today, and I sold him 8 more bugs for 45,000 bells.

I’ll be posting my next New Horizons Moments video soon, so keep an eye out. Update: Here it is!

See you next time! Never Stop Crossing!
