Sam’s Party, Fountain Photos

On Saturday night, I headed over to Sam’s town of Seattle for his birthday party. Jac, Jesse, Storm, Logan, and Matthew were also there. We hung out at Able Sisters for a bit, and we spun our umbrellas outside in the rain.

Sam suggested that we go to Bob’s house, because he wanted to see me “flip out” because he has Bob. I’m not sure why that would make me flip out, especially when I have Bob too. πŸ˜›

Sam: Bob <3 Jeff. Jeff: I have him too, tho.

But then, Sam suggested we all visit Lolly. And then I was a little bit jealous. πŸ˜› But not too much, because I do have Lolly in New Leaf. But Sam thought it was funny how it looked like we were all lined up talk to Lolly, like she’s a celebrity. πŸ˜†

Lining up to speak to Lolly?

We eventually made our way back to Sam’s house, where we celebrated his birthday…and he ate a cake. Happy birthday, Sam! πŸŽ‚

Later, we went to the plaza, where Logan requested a special song from K.K. Slider. I didn’t care for the title, myself.

K.K.: Right on, let's get this show started. Goin' out to Logan, it's Jeff smells like poo time.

But K.K. actually played the Wild World/City Folk title screen theme! Pretty cool!

Next, we went to the Roost for some coffee. But we were all completely out of sync with each other. Probably the most chaotic coffee gulp I’ve seen in the game so far. πŸ˜†

After a couple of disconnections, Storm left for the night. Back outside, Matthew fell into a pitfall…and blamed me for it. Why do I always get blamed for pitfalls? I couldn’t even use my shovel in Sam’s town!

We saw another K.K. show (K.K. Disco this time), while Logan tried to annoy us all. And then we posed for a group photo before Sam ended the session. It turned out to be excellent timing, because it was the top of the hour and the fountain erupted right then. β›²

On Sunday afternoon, I spotted Daisy Mae in the Roost. I think this was my first time seeing her in there. She wasn’t having coffee, though; she had a sable cookie instead. I just don’t know how she eats it without her snot getting on it. Yuck.

Daisy Mae: Did you know I never had a sable cookie before I came to visit here?

Last month, I thought the rainy season had started already because I was having rain almost every day for a week or so. But apparently it was just an unlucky week. Because the real rainy season is underway now, and Forest is getting drenched in unwanted wetness and flower buds.

On Tuesday, Pascal pondered why fastening something makes it not go fast. πŸ˜›

Pascal: Why is it that fastening something means making totally sure it doesn't go fast? Words, maaan.

On Wednesday, I retrieved Gullivarrr’s phone for him. The next day, he sent me a pirate-ship cannon. Finally, my 2nd cannon! He has sent me some items 5+ times, but never a 2nd cannon until now. This is his best item, in my opinion, and I’m glad to finally have two. πŸ˜†

Today, it was raining a bit as I started up the game…but the sun was also shining. Within minutes, the rain stopped completely at the top of the hour. I was hoping to see my first rainbow in Forest, but it never materialized. On the bright side, I did get a nice photo of my fountains.

Fountains, clouds, Bob, Jeff, and Merengue.

Here are a few other quick notes about the past week or so:

  • Last Saturday, K.K. Slider played K.K. Slack-Key for me, Rio, and Static.
  • On Tuesday, I sold seven fish to C.J. for 115,500 bells.
  • On Wednesday, I returned a lost book to June. She rewarded me with an athletic jacket.
  • Pascal gave me a mermaid princess dress, and I gave it to Merengue. She put it on right away (and rewarded me with a rugby uniform).
  • Today, I sold seven bugs to Flick for 38,250 bells.

Enjoy your weekend, and I’ll be back with more next week! πŸ™‚
