On Monday, Rio told me that she recently had an argument with Agent S. So she asked me to deliver a gift to smooth things over. I hopped over to the squirrel’s house and handed over the present. It was a metal can, which seemed a bit minimalist (to put it nicely).
Her response seemed a little too enthusiastic for just a can, so I wondered if she was being sarcastic. Her next bit of dialogue also seemed to indicate that she knows the gift was junk. 😆
Tuesday was October 1st, and we’re now headed into Halloween season. Jack (the czar of Halloween) sent me a letter reminding me to prepare for the event. He also sent me his portrait.
Candy is now available at Nook’s Cranny (along with spooky furniture), and the shop has also started decorating for the holiday.
On Thursday, Ed the horse was camping over at the campsite. This is the 2nd time he has camped here (the first time was in November 2023).
Tonight, I went over to the plaza for K.K. Slider’s concert. June, Louie, Rio, and Agent S joined me for a performance of “K.K. Reggae.” After the show, Agent S told me the best thing about autumn:
Next, I flew out to Harv’s island, where I paid Katrina 1,000 bells to tell my fortune.
She told me that my health will diminish!
She insisted that something unfortunate might happen today, but fortunately she knew how to purify me. 😛 For a fee, of course.
I agreed to it, because I thought she might give me a rare item or something. She told me to close my eyes, while she let out a scream.
…and that was it. She said I’d be fine now. I didn’t even get a lucky hat out of it. 😛 Oh well.
After that bit of excitement, I wrapped up my game for the night. But here are a few other quick notes about this week:
- Last Sunday, K.K. performed Hypno K.K. for me, Ankha, Merengue, and Bob.
- I helped out Gullivarrr on Monday, and he sent me a sea captain’s coat on Tuesday.
- Yesterday, I shot down a balloon present that contained 30,000 bells. Those are pretty rare, but always a pleasant surprise! 💰
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I’ll see you next time!
