Learning to Sigh

K.K. Slider was in town last night, and he performed the song “Stale Cupcakes.” That’s a good song! Midge and Tia joined me for the show.

K.K. Slider performs for Tia, Midge, and Jeff.

After the show, I went home to do some crafting. As I browsed through my list, I noticed that the document stack is made from scattered papers…and scattered papers can be made from a document stack! So you can take one of those items and craft it into the other one, back and forth endlessly, with no additional materials needed. This could be a very helpful thing to keep in mind for Nook Miles+ goals!

It was raining in town, and Bones told me about a game he likes to play: Run Around And Scream. 😱

Bones: Rainy days like this are perfect for playing games indoors. Me? I really like to play Run-Around-And-Scream!

Later on, I made a fairly significant change to town by removing the amusement park. It’s been a part of Forest for a year now…almost to the day. But it’s time to move on to something different. The new attraction will be much simpler, but I’m still not done with it yet. It’s tricky getting the spacing just right.

This morning, I bought some turnips from Daisy Mae…for the first time in two and a half months.

Daisy Mae: Alright, so 1,400 turnips comes to... 127,400 bells. Does that sound OK to you?

Just a heads-up that a cheese wheel (officially called a double Gloucester cheese) is available as a seasonal item.

Available until May 31: Double Gloucester cheese, 1,200 bells.

Down on the beach, Eloise pinged me and taught me the sighing reaction! I’m surprised there were this many snooty reactions I still needed (and I still need at least love).

I learned the sighing reaction! Just my luck...

I wonder why Claudia didn’t teach me more of these things!

Tia asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “with cream,” so I told her to say “in my tea” instead.

  1. Hey! I’m thinking about getting wild world on Wii U is it worth it? (I’m talking to an Animal Crossing master and ultimate player)

    1. Yes, as long as you’re not expecting all the features that are in the newer games. Things are simpler overall, but the dialogue is quite entertaining and there are a few (but not many) exclusive events. 🙂

      1. Thanks! And yes I’ve only played New Horizons so this is a plus for me so no need ALL the features.
