Apparently in honor of Black Friday, the Nooklings announced yesterday that everything at Nook’s Cranny would be 30% off for the rest of the month.
However, the Nooklings will tell you about the sale (with a five-page set of dialogue) every time you go into the store. So it gets a little annoying. I’d rather pay full price and avoid the nag-alogue, but that’s just me. π
Bones asked to visit my house last night, and I agreed to let him come over. Inside, he gave me his photo…but I was really just waiting for him to leave. After 4+ minutes of standing around, then he told me he wanted to see the other rooms too. So I took him around to each room, and we finished in the basement.
Ten minutes into the visit, he finally decided to leave. I’m not a fan of these visits. π
At the Roost, I had my usual cup of coffee. Brewster then gave me a coffee plant!
Today, Bones sent me a letter in the mail. He said he’s curious about the secret rooms he hasn’t seen yet! Even though he saw them all!
It was K.K. Slider night, and the singing dog performed a new song called K.K. Khoomei for me, Apollo, Bones, Static, and Louie. The song is a bit weird, and it sounded like it had some mic feedback or static during parts of the song. Still, I kind of liked it.
When I put the aircheck in my stereo, the album cover didn’t show up! I thought maybe it was loading, so I kept waiting and waiting, but nothing.
However, when I closed and reopened the music player screen, then it finally showed up.
I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend. See you next time.
I believe the static is referring to throat-singing, and they did their best to replicate that here. Itβs a cool vocal technique!
