September Seasonal Items

Some new seasonal items are available now, including a dango and moon cakes for moon-viewing day, and some songpyeon for the Korean festival of Chuseok. The moon rug from last year has also returned. You have until September 21st to order the items.

Dango: 1,100 bells.

Wisp was in town on Sunday night, and I gathered up his spirits for him. In return, he gave me a red perforated-board wall.

Yesterday, Bianca the white tiger (or snow leopard) was camping at the campsite.

Bianca, at the campsite: Hi there! I'm Bianca, and I'm totes camping on your awesome island!

I like her a lot, but still not quite enough that I would kick anyone out for her. I try not to force anyone out like that, but perhaps someday there will be a situation in which I’ll do it.

Saharah was in town, so I bought a mystery wallpaper and a mystery flooring; I didn’t bother with rugs this time. I ended up with a security-monitors wall and circuit-board flooring. Even though I like them, I already have them both.

Today, the Nooklings had a brine-shrimp aquarium (Sea Monkeys!).

Timmy: Seems like you're interested in a brine-shrimp aquarium.

I thought it would make a perfect gift for Marina, so I bought it and wrapped it up. Marina seemed to enjoy it, and she gave me a text shirt in return. I’ll have to check tomorrow (or another day soon) to see if she displays the aquarium in her house.

I posted a new “Quick Comparisons” video today, comparing more aspects of each game in the Animal Crossing series. That includes the number of villager species, types of flowers, types of fruit, letter storage, and more. I hope you enjoy it!

Full Storage

Yesterday, Gullivarrr sent me my latest reward, and it was another pirate bandanna. That’s my 5th pirate bandanna overall, and my 3rd red one! Meanwhile, he still hasn’t sent a 2nd pirate-ship cannon. 😛

When I was putting some stuff into storage, I got an unexpected message: My storage is full! 😮

Your storage is full, so you can't put anything else in it.

Even though it’s disappointing to know I’m out of storage, it’s honestly shocking that it has taken me a year and a half to do it! I need to stop saving every Gulliver/Gullivarrr item I get, for one thing.

2,400/2,400: Storage full.

And I do have a lot of unnecessary things in storage that I can get rid of, including tons of materials like sticks, stones, and iron nuggets. I started crafting with some of them, which will help me work towards my crafting goals in my Nook Miles app.

I saw that Flick was in town, and that gave me the opportunity to clear out 16 bugs that I had in storage. I sold them for a total of 186k.

Flick: Ahem. Can I offer you, say, 186,000 bells for the bunch of them?

Tonight is K.K. Slider night, so I sat down to enjoy the concert. Unfortunately, he played K.K. Etude, which is the same song he played three weeks ago. Hornsby and Marina also joined me for the show. (She’s just hiding behind K.K.’s speech bubble in this screenshot.) 😛

K.K.: Right on. I'm tuned up and ready to roll. Who's in the mood for a little K.K. Etude?

I’ve been neglecting to give Marina a gift every day, but I crafted a nice fountain for her tonight. I’m guessing it may be too large for her to display in her house, but it’s a nice gift regardless, if I do say so myself. 😛 When I gave it to her, she just gave me a flashy hairpin in return. But that’s okay. Our friendship is growing, slowly but surely.

And speaking of fountains, I customized my two near the plaza. They are now black.

My two black fossils near the plaza. Marina says hi.

Have you all filled up your storage yet? I’m curious to hear how long it took you all. Or maybe some of you still have a long ways to go? Let me know in the comments, and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Star Head

Gullivarrr was in town today, but he did not want to wake up from his nap. I guess I can’t blame him.

Gullivarrr: Arrr! I don't care if it's me turn to man the helm. Me nap time is me nap time... Zzz...

I went diving to find his communicator, and I snared it on just my 2nd dive. I returned it to the pirate, and he’ll be sending me a gift in the mail tomorrow.

There was a heavy meteor shower tonight, so I wished on quite a few shooting stars. Over by the dock, I ran into Celeste! She taught me how to make something called a “star head.”

Wishing on a shooting star next to Celeste on the dock in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

By the way, I’ve been seeing those cumulonimbus clouds a lot lately. I guess I just didn’t notice them much last year, but they’ve been appearing very frequently over the last few weeks.

Apple was talking about amusement parks, and she said she loves thrill rides. But surprisingly, she thinks ferris wheels are terrifying!

Apple: I'm not a big fan of being trapped in a flimsy, shaky box miles in the air. But, hey, that's just me!

Before wrapping up my night, I made myself a star head.

Wearing a star head in ACNH.

I feel like Maggie Simpson in her winter coat. See you all next time. 😛
