Midge Flies Away

Yesterday, Agent S told me that she wanted to get her brand out there. She wanted to go viral, so she asked me to spread the word that she is a virus. I’m not sure that’s exactly how that works, but okay. Agent S is a virus, everybody!! 😂

Agent S: Just tell folks stuff like, 'Hey, you know Agent S? She's a total virus!'

Jolly Redd was in town, but his only authentic work of art was a worthy painting, which I already had in the museum. But I still bought it for a future prize. The purchase earned me 3,000 Nook Miles, because I have now spent five million bells on the island.

Bell Ringer: All goals met.
I just hit 1.2 million miles.

Midge told me that she was thinking about moving away, and I told her to go for it. I like Midge a lot, but it’s time to move on.

Midge: I'm excited for a new adventure, but I know I'm going to miss you!

Today, she was all packed up and ready to go. I made sure to say goodbye to her. Good luck to you, Midge! I’m sure we’ll meet again in the future!

Midge: I'm a little sad to be leaving, but I'll be hoping for the best for you!
The same to you, Midge!

The mood was quite different at Tybalt’s house; he was celebrating his birthday! I gave him a tiger jacket for his present. Happy birthday, Tybalt!

Tybalt, at his birthday party: What?! An honest-to-goodness tiger jacket?!

His next-door neighbor Apple was also there to help him celebrate.

Apple: I hope this birthday is a super-mega-awesome one for Tybalt!

Hornsby told me that he likes to mix things up on his daily walks, just to keep the bugs guessing where he’s at. 😛

Hornsby: Gotta keep the bugs guessing! 'Where's Hornsby?!' I could be anywhere!

I then spent some time completing some Nook Miles+ goals, and earning Miles I don’t need. 😛 Then I wrapped up my night in Forest. I’ll be back again soon though, because I’ll have some villager hunting to do!

Mountain Bike

On Sunday night, Apple was doing something she called “dance crafting.” She starts with a theme and then makes up a dance for it. Apparently, she was a mountain bike on this particular night. 😛

Apple: I am a mountain bike. I am a mountain bike. ...
I don’t wheelie believe you.

The third fireworks festival of the year was underway, and many of my villagers were having a good time at the plaza. Isabelle gave me a flower bopper this week.

Bones: It was a giant, colorful light bursting into a million pieces all over the sky!

Yesterday, Gulliver was in town and I dug up his communicator pieces for him. I received my reward today; he sent me another silk hat.

Tybalt was sick with a cold today, so I bought some medicine for him.

Tybalt: Ugghhh... I feel awful. Knew I shoulda stocked up on medicine...

Once he took it, he started to feel better. He rewarded me with a sleeveless parka.

Apollo was complaining about online shopping, telling me that he once received a gigantic, 8-foot-tall statue after he thought he was ordering a tiny figurine. In reality, the exact opposite is far more likely: Receiving something much smaller than you were expecting.

Apollo: This one time I bought myself a tiny figurine to decorate a shelf, and a week later, this gigantic box arrived.

I’ll see you all next time!

Fish Ears?

On Thursday, Bones told me that he wants to start learning jujitsu. However, he didn’t know where he could find some books about it. Hmm, has he looked through all the hundreds of books in his house?

Bones: So I guess I got some readin' up to do first. But I dunno where to find books about it.

There was some beef Stu up at the campsite, but I didn’t have an appetite for the guy. (Maybe if I had some broth and a potato.)

Stu: Do you camp? You gotta try it sometime. It's like being inside, except you're outside, mrooooo!
But you actually are inside.

At Able Sisters today, they had an Alice in Wonderland dress (apparently called an adventure dress) on display in the window. I thought that was pretty cool, even if it doesn’t exactly suit me. ♣️♥️♠️♦️

An adventure dress (based on Alice in Wonderland) appears in the display window of Able Sisters.

Bones asked me if fish have ears. The reason for his question was even stranger than the question itself: Every time he eats fish, he’s afraid there could be bugs hiding in the fish’s ears. And he doesn’t want to eat bugs, because bugs are his friends. 😛

Bones: I can't eat bugs! Too many of my friends are bugs!

It was K.K. Slider night, and the singing dog performed K.K. Condor for me and Apple. It’s one of my (many) favorites.

K.K.: Right on. I'm tuned up and ready to roll. Who's in the mood for a little K.K. Condor?
Two or three of you may remember it as the oooooOOOOOoooooo song.

Last month, I pointed out that (at the time), villagers that were not seated would disappear once K.K. Slider’s performance started. That is no longer the case, as I saw Eloise and Midge walk through the “stage” area tonight.

If you haven’t already seen it, my latest video compares pitfall dialogue throughout the Animal Crossing series. Check it out if you’re interested!

I hope you’re all having a great day! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I’ll see you next time!
