On Sunday, C.J. sent me a letter congratulating me on accumulating 300 fishing tournament points. He sent me my gold fish trophy, at last!

I put it in my bathroom, next to my gold bug trophy. 🙂

K.K. Slider was in town for a Sunday show, and I told him I was feeling good. He performed K.K. Ragtime for me, Rio, and Ankha.

I refurbished the exterior of my house so that it’s black and orange for Halloween. Like it?

After helping Gulliver yesterday, he sent me another sombrero today. I’m so sick of the sombreros, though; he sends me so many of those!

Punchy asked me if I was interested in a treasure-hunting game today, and I agreed to play. It’s been a while since I’ve played one of these! Unfortunately, he only gave me three minutes to find the treasure…and I failed miserably. I did eventually find it, behind a tree behind Resident Services…but it was far too late. Punchy didn’t let me keep it. 😛

I shot down a balloon present that contained some ketchup-fried rice, and I knew just what to do with it: I gave it to Ketchup, of course!

In return, she gave me a fortune-telling set. I didn’t see that coming.

Flick was in town last night, so I raided my storage for bugs. He paid me 65,250 bells for my 11 bugs, which were mostly wasps and scorpions.

Today, I started up the game and saw that the fall fishing tournament was underway. With the sun about to set, it looked so pretty!

I signed up for the first run, and began fishing. When I tried to take a fish that Punchy was trying to catch (but not trying very hard, of course), he just glared at me. 😆

I caught five fish on my first run, which was good for seven points. To my surprise, C.J. told me I’ve now earned over 300 points in total! Honestly, I completely forgot that I hadn’t already reached this goal! I would have actually tried sooner! 😆

I decided to do another run of the tourney, and I again caught five fish (scoring seven points). C.J. informed me that I had 23 points in my pool, so I redeemed them for two prizes. He gave me a fish-print tee and a fish rug.

Due to the tournament, there was no K.K. Slider concert tonight.

On Sunday, I noticed some Halloween programming on the TV in my house. There were four different scenes, three of which were just static screens.

The other one showed some Halloween candy jiggling around. 😛 But after a minute or so, the TV switched to a talk show. So I think it was just a brief seasonal commercial, and not a full program. But still, it was nice to see another sign of Halloween! 🎃

Tuesday, C.J. was in town, and he wanted me to catch three big-time fish. I quickly caught a zebra turkeyfish and two black bass to complete the challenge. I unloaded a ton of fish from my storage, and I sold a total of 575,000 bells worth of fish! That helped boost my savings up to 70 million bells.

Yesterday, I was up on the cliff when I saw Ketchup seemingly walking to Redd’s ship. No, Ketchup! Don’t shop there! 😛

But of course, she didn’t actually go up the ramp. She was just walking near the anchor there.

I ran into Pascal in the sea, and he told me that the sun never really sets. It just stands there while we run around it.

Today, it was raining and sunny as I started up the game. I was thinking maybe this would be my chance to finally see a rainbow in Forest. But no such luck. Maybe someday.

I crafted a suspicious cauldron and put it by Ankha’s house. Ankha can be the town witch for Halloween, whether she knows it or not. 😆

Wisp was in town tonight, and I recovered his spirits for him. In return, he gave me a puffy vest.

I’m thinking about having Friday Night Forest in two weeks (on October 27th). It’s not set in stone yet, but that’s what I’m aiming for. I’ll post an update when it gets closer.
